    I don’t think this paper agreed at all with the Gelatos. I mean you can see it was peeling and didn’t even look right. You know the Gelatos can blend very well dry, doesn’t have to be with water. Also very textured paper will not work well with them. Also if they are completely dry,they will not reactivate again, they are permanent

      The paper I used is very generic watercolor paper. It doesn’t agree with many things, lol. But now that you mention the paper, I do remember using them on regular sketchbook paper when I first got them, and they did blend smoothly. Although this was 2 years ago and I suspect they're a tad drier than when I first bought them too.
      I have a Soho mixed media sketchbook (seen in other videos) that I use a lot. I haven't used it for gelatos because I wasn't sure if the gelatos would smudge in it. I used some gel crayons previously (without water), and those just left a mess on the opposite page like soft pastels or charcoal would. Even after drying! I was trying to avoid that again because I like using both paper sides in that sketchbook.
