I ordered many of your translucent vellum papers and I’m not sure of ideas in how to use them. I tried glue and gesso but both caused many wrinkles in the paper. Could you show more ways to use them so that I don’t ruin anymore by using them wrong. Thank you for all the great ideas 👍🏼😊
@@fabuLIZ_. I will certainly have something soon. I am using in as an embellishment and glue with hot glue gun at the edge only so it is 3d and more standing out. I don't glue it down fully and flat. Hope this helps 💛

It’s good to know that they are durable and still usable without problems after so long.
I was very interested when I saw someone selling a pre-loved set because of how many colors it has. But when I saw that you couldn’t really write on top unless it’s strong pigmented paint like Posca, I’m having second thoughts.

Wonderful page Marta! And great demo on the gelatos. For me the 2nd camera angle didn't add much. It's nice for a few shots maybe, but the angle from above makes it the easiest to see your work. So if it costs you a lot of time to do it, I wouldn't push yourself too much ❤️

I love how they create soft color. Sometimes I add it as a background color for animals. It's easy to use it last and just rub it around your subject for a background.

I use my gelatos on paper I have gessoed first. Blends beautifully with not-too-wet-babywipes water brushes and stamping over them. I have never thought to blend them with my finger. Putting a stencil over it and wiping the ink off, works well too. Thanx for your insightful video. I am so happy to hear your lilting voice with a smile in it again.God bless you and your lovely family.

I do love your dual-camera angles. I have noticed when you narrate a video after it's been filmed you talk a lot faster. Not a problem; just an observation. I still love this video. It's so nice that you demonstrate how a product works before I go buy it. I have purchased Woodies since watching your channel. Now I will be keeping an eye out at thrift stores for gelatos. I have a few packs of gelatos...I’m not the biggest fan...because I couldn’t draw on top....but there are droppers and empty sprays in my set too so maybe I should try them out again. But yesterday I got one white woodie and a 12 pack of the Lamy 3inone....really love the colors. So I guess it’s time to be testing and playing again. Love the video and two cameras, many youtubers do that now, it makes it more interesting to watch.

i love to play with gelatoes and also using some of it and blend them into my stensil paste so i get great metallic colours
Hi sweetie! Thanks for the video. If you don't mind me saying, the word you're looking for is *edge*: the end part/"border" of the paper. When we place the papers together you taught us to use, for example, white gesso on the edges to blend them in. I'm not a English language native, so I know the feeling of missing a word 😄 So we can share our knowledge, because we are always learning something new, right? 😉 Big hugs for you all. Great question. I didn't try but I imagine and guess it would work. Best is to try it on the side on small piece of papers. 🖍️ Bad I didn't think of checking this
Its great to use your own products it's free advertising for yourself and help snus with ideas and helps us to support you u dont wanna help others.all the time with increasing their business though sometimes is fine but dont feel bad about that. What a fun way to use the gelatos, Marta! I use mine mostly when I am making foamiran flowers with the die cuts. I use a paintbrush and water and it works great. I haven't used them much for other things, so this video is helpful. Thank you! I also have Tim Holts Distress Crayons. I'd love to see what you think of those compared to the gelatos. To me, they seem similar, but being so new to all of this, I'm curious to hear the opinion of someone who is a professional in mixed media art. I also used those to do the flowers. I have used both the gelatos and distress crayons on dauber sponges with a little water, then use on stencils or a background color. Thank you for doing this video. It was very helpful. The spray technique is so brilliant!
Tim's crayons are very similar indeed to gelatos but from all the crayons I own Tim's are my leas favourite. I just don't enjoy them as much as other brands
I agree they aren’t as versatile to use. I’ve mainly used them on the foamiran. Stamping works on those too.

Very similar in use but I think Gelatos are better in pigmentation and less oily.
Do the Gelatoes or Woody pencils work on gelli plates?

Nope. This was mixed. Media paper. But you can use any watercolour paper too

I bought them to use on foamerin and paper flowers BUT I use a sponge and wet wipe you can only wipe wipe and it colours one petal.nothing like emilia uses.shes polish lady that taught me to make foamerin flowers but I don't know why thier not like hers so disapionted and thier expencive 26 pound
