I recently applied Carbon Method to my table saw and was blown away by the ease of use and the layer of protection it added to my cast iron tops.
This product was sent to me for free to test out. But these are my own thoughts and opinions on the product. #notsponsored

Would you use this on your tools? Let me know what you think!
I just use board butter as a paste wax. Bees wax and mineral oil and it's easy to make. I do a thinner version as a finish for different things and a thicker version as a paste wax for my tools. Strangely in 30 years I've never owned Johnson's paste wax and before I started making my own they had discontinued it. So them doing so is why I now make use and sell my own finishes lol
Also new sub. Great videos I'm watching a few
Briwax is a good substitute for Jonhson Past Wax. Not only is it much easier to apply, it is 1/3rd the price. I think I will stick with the wax method.
Thanks for the tip 👍
I used Carbon Method on a new tables in January, and my garage shop is 50' from a salt water marsh on the back side of a narrow coastal island rust is a nightmare Even for 304 stainless steel. However, my cast iron table top looks pristine. I'm doing my planes and Chisels as soon as I get more chemical.
Wow, that’s awesome! Thanks for sharing 👍
Holy hell, that stuff is $80+tax & shipping! I'll just find a different wax for my table saw when I finally run out of Johnson's (in 5yrs or so).
It’s definitely not cheap 😬
No matter what method I use I still get rust. Boeshield T-9, Johnson wax Glide coat
Sounds like you should give Carbon Method a try 👍
This looks like an infomercial.
Did you purchase this product at retail price, or was it supplied for promotional compensation?
In either case, clarifying one way or another is probably a good idea going forward.
This was sent to me free of charge for me to test out. But I was under no obligation to review it or make any content about it. I enjoy sharing new and innovative products for woodworkers and their shops.
It was not my intent to try and sell you anything or trick you into buying something. I was just sharing my experience with the product, which I am a fan of. I will be sure to mention this in the future. My apologies for not being more transparent.
@@EverydayBuilds it’s not a biggie for me, you are still getting your feet under you on the UA-cam dealio, I like your presentation style.
When trying out new things manufacturers send you a simple hey xyz sent this for me to try out so today I am showing you (in this case wipe it on correctly) and will report back on it in a few months.
Good luck with your channel.
That is nice stuff if you can afford it. Wow 100$. There's are lot of much more affordable products, such as automotive protectors.
I do agree, it is a bit steep 😬
Go lions
GO LIONS!!! 🦁
WD40. Cheap. Effective.
For protection or cleaning? 🤔
I don’t think this is the way to do it. You did not apply the upper coat. There are two different coatings done with two different products.
I followed the instructions 🤷🏻♂️
