Nathan Yarborough two meaning a single inlet on the muffler and two separate outlet pipes from the muffler. They make them 1 in 1 out, 1 in 2 out or 2 in 2 out. It doesn’t help with drone, mines got 2 out, drone is just part of flowmasters unless you get hush powers or 50 series and up, but it does balance the sound to have 2 out. Having drone on 2 sides makes it slightly less annoying believe it or not.
There is no way this thing drones it’s so quiet. Most people don’t even know what drone is. Hearing the exhaust is different than having that sound where it just gets in your ear. Hope this helps and maby it somehow does idk
i want the same series just for the sound not the noise it is awesome and the best sound i think for flowmasters, i have a mercury grand m. 4.6L V8 i want to install the same thing but i have my right cats removed and i needed to install a new ones and it is so expensive 900$ (with the sensors) in my country in Saudi Arabia i dont think i will install it before i got my cats fixed.
Wtf is this video of, that sounds like a completely stock truck bud. You want a good sounding truck? Them cut the muffler out and cats out and replace cats with magnaflow high flow cats and put a y pipe in place of your muffler. Then run dual 3" exhaust pipe it the back at 90° turn down then 45° behind the tires with the tips flush to the bed if the truck in each side. You will have the MEANEST sounding GMC in the northern states buddy I promise you that!!! You'll love the sound and it's worth the price!!! I've done it to all of my Gasser trucks and it's the same set up I'll use on them all and the ones to come.
I have to agree with Dirty Bird here. That’s a nice sound and I didn’t hear any popping or anything. Your the first one that I’ve come across where, you have the single in to a single out. Nice.
Those Z71 decals are positioned wrong. They are to close to the tail light. I'm thinking that your truck is just a standard 4×4 and someone or you put those decals on. Ya they are in the wrong position.
Aden Seay Yes flowmaster is a popular and reputable brand. Any local muffler shop should be able to recieve and install this setup for a rather inexpensive price.
Man those clouds are making some serious thunder...
I only have a Readylift leveling kit. So up 2in in the front and the back is stock
To get rid of the drone, go 1 in, 2 out and put tips at the end. It drones because it's only coming from one pipe.
what does two out mean, like to pipes splitting

i'm willing to bet, and this is just a guess, but the droning is more likely from the truck going into 4 cyl mode then anything else.
Welcome to the dumbest post I have seen on youtube today!

Does your lift handle pretty good? Any rubbing? Has your mods to your truck effected performance?

Is there a noticeable increase in power? This is the sound I'm looking for.
No increase in power that I noticed.
+Zachary Creech Crap. Did you stay with the factory diameter pipe? That may be why.
+Matt no mine is 3 inch piping. Factory is 2.5 inch

Zachary Creech what about your gas mileage? Did you notice an increase difference at all? Or a decrease? Thanks. Nice vid.
Is the resonator on
If he had bigger tips big boy would’ve slapped harder

I have a Z71 and yes those are definitely in the wrong place. LOL
You cut the cats?If you did it over again would you go S44 or S40 again?
I didn't cut the cats. I would still go s44. now that I have had it for about a year. its the ride sound for me.
What size lift?
Are flowmasters good? Im turning 16 and i dont know anything about them is there a certain type I should get for a gmc sierra?

There is not noticeable sound when it drops to four cylinders. At least I don't hear any
Sound was weak
What size tires?
