I have some automotive welding repairs I need to do to my old Army jeeps. Look like this is a good, low-cost option for someone who hasn't welded in 30 years....Looks like it's retailing now for $140.
You may want a small wire feed of you are doing sheet metal. They have those too! A little flux core unit is cheap.
Back in the 70’s I built a 46 Willy’s and installed a blueprint 327 in it. I learned arc welding on it because I couldn’t afford to have someone else do the work.
That's the best way to learn. I find I learn better by just getting my hands on there. Thanks for watching!
A grinder and paint will make a welder what he ain’t 😂. I suck at welding no matter what process I’m using.
I think I'm TIG welding everything next time! Lol
Good.job Nice welding good show cool yard 😄👍👍👍👏👏👏
Thank you!!
You dont wanna see my arc welds 🤭. Nice little cart btw. I always love portable solutions like this to make any job easier
It's awesome as a back pack rig!
@@madgingercustoms yeah that's the smallest welder I've ever seen but might just be right up my alley atm
What the welder giveth, the grinder taketh away! That tiny welder is pretty amazing. Gonna buy one today! I’m a farmer taught stick welder. It’s not supposed to look good, it’s supposed to NOT FALL OFF! 🤷🏼♂️🤣
Dave you freakin' NAILED that cart build. It's perfect, 4 pieces of metal fab equipment in a single cart that's smaller than most carts built for a single welder. That's impressive bro!!!
Thanks man!!
What do you say at 7:12? "This little machine....."
I said, "that's pretty good" there were some good beads and some horrible beads lol.
@@madgingercustomsthanks for the reply. I appreciate that.
will it run off a generator?
I can try it if you like. Maxed out it's rated at 19.4 amps at 110v if that helps you.
@@madgingercustoms tho, are their generators cheap as one of those $80 welders? "not including the $50 scraped 8250kw generator i comically strapped to the engine of the car???" i do run 5/32 6010 at 90amp filling/overhead, but that's behind a 8kva wall trickling 2kva. cart becomes a whole vehicle
Nice job, the cart turned out fantastic. I have a similar version of that welder from another brand and one of the nice things about it is, it'll work with my 4500W cheap Champion generator. I'd be curious to see how small of a generator you could run it off of.
Hmmm. Listed max amps is 19.4 total.
Look at you Dave , being all creative. You went and built yourself a “ crash cart “ you a medical miracle lol. Seriously though, what a great simple idea. As always a pleasure, thanks.👍👍🇨🇦
Thanks for coming back and watching! And yes, you could crash this thing pretty good and it would hold up.
Holy blazing sticks!
Great project and so much fun to see some cool tools in use.
Everything to love about little 4 lb welders.
Thanks for checking it out!!
Unfortunately it’s coming from Hong Kong and they don’t list the shipping price or give an estimate.
It was free shipping.
Dang it, Dave!!! Like I need another welder. LOL. I wanted to build a cart for my Tig and Tig cooler, Small MIG, and Plasma. Something kind of like what you did. I think the new Tig (New to me) is going to be the cart for the Everlast and tig cooler. I kind of want to make some sort of arm to hang the Plasma in the ceiling. I like the metal bender. I don't remember that episode.
I built the tubing bender before we did UA-cam. Amazon Bender, Woodward fab die, air/hydraulic cylinder from Amazon and I made the cylinder mount out of pipe.
@@madgingercustoms Oh That makes sense then LOL!!
I liked your video! I do have one question...you said it will weld 3/16" steel, will it be able to handle 1/4" angle iron? Thank you!!
I think I mentioned rod diameter. I can look metal thickness and get back to you.
@@madgingercustoms Thank you, I really appreciate it. I was told that this type of welder cannot do 1/4" steel thickness.
your modified/reinforced/made-real brake and bead roller are really.... good.
Thanks!
I have the Mig 200. I love the machine. I am also teaching myself how to weld and fabricate in my garage to work on my 71' chevy truck project.
I don't know if it was said but i was keen to see how well it moved around!! 🙂that wheel set up work out for ya?
She floats nice. I'm very happy with the outcome.
@@madgingercustoms cool cool 😎
Really like that cart a lot. I don't have a way to bend those tubes, but I guess you could use square tube?
An Amazon tubing bender with a Woodward fab die.
@@madgingercustoms Yeah went back and saw it
I don't need the welder, (you got me to buy a plasma that I am happy with) but I may build a new welder cart as I have the same pos HF one that sucks..
The HF ones do the job but my floor is horrible and those don't roll well. Thanks for watching!
yea same here, when I drag it outside to work on things it is shaky to say the least.
I use an expanded metal garden type wagon with balloon air tires for everything except my torch and bottles rolls great even outside.
"It literally weighs nothing." Do you understand what literally means?
I bet you're fun at parties. Literally fun.

@@madgingercustoms You wouldn't know it but I liked your video but it bothers me that the language you use is false. The welder is very cool and thanks for putting me onto it but it does weigh something, doesn't fit in the palm of your hand - one end is similar to the size of your hand, etc etc etc and if you have issues with my opinion then gtfo it. 👍
Is it 110 or 220?
110 volt!
Nice bubble gum
I may continue to use this thing. I would like to be better at it!
Thanks for another enjoyable video, was going to give you 10 out of 10 but no Jen so you get 2 out of 10. 😅
Jess says thanks for the loyalty!
Hey Dave,
Great job of building that cart as well as the demo with the little 130 welder.
If I didn't already have two lincoln headstone welders, I would jump on the offer to buy that dandy little hot box.
I still think you are nutz working out in that frozen shop, but thanks for the video.
Take Care
I honestly don't mind the cold. If I lost some weight it may be an issue then!!
Mint dave
Thanks!!
Real nice video. That welder is a hoot !! Great welder cart. Thanks. Hi to Jess.
Thanks for watching! Jess says hi!
Nice!! Getting ready to build myself a welding cart soon.
Awesome! You gonna do a video on it??
@@madgingercustoms thinking about it. If time allows. 👍🏻
Very functional, nice work.
Thank you!
Awesome Dave. Great job!
Thanks!
Nice Job Dave. Looks good.
Thanks! Not bad for a beginner? I should only do TIG next time I think. Regain some viewer confidence!
@madgingercustoms I am not a good sticker either but I have been practicing with my Lincoln weldanpower 250g.
Reminds me of watching some neighborhood guys build a roll cage out of Buick driveshafts. Welding rods and empty beer cans would come flying out of the windows at reqular intervals. Their biggest concern was whether they would run out of beer before they used up all the welding rods. It does not have to be a "stack of dimes" to be strong. AJ Watson claimed he could tell a fake Indy roadster from an original because the welds were too pretty.
Ha! That's my old friends and I in highschool!!!
Looks good!
Thank you!
Hell yeah buddy!
Now if ya made it radio control, Jess can sit in the house and drive you around on it! LOL
This is an amazing idea. I'll run it by Jess. She will likely run me into the road to be struck by car.
