Isn't it amazing when an acapella group can sound like they have instrumental accompaniment one moment, and no accompaniment the next? That ending is masterful!
These guys are gifted and talented, for sure. And, clearly, they work hard on those tight harmonies. But they have the support of high-quality production that shows them off well. I don't know but I'm betting that their live shows have that too.
I'm going to make sure my kids know that THAT version of the song is to be played when I pass...hopefully a long time away but I have disabilities due to severe scoliosis that impair my health even at only 59. Always be prepared.

🤣🤣🤣 I love your reaction! Home Free is my favorite a cappella group! When you gave that “What???” look at the beginning I knew you were going to love the end! I warn you, if you keep reacting to these guys, the Home Fries (Home Free fans) will start showing up in droves! I always suggest starting with their live performances on “The Sing Off “ in order to learn more about them. Season 4, with intros and judge comments (mrduckbear11 here on UA-cam has them all in the best quality I can find and doesn’t seem to mind people using them). It’s all live and some are really funny!

I have been a fan of acapela music beginning barbershop quartets and great harmonies in general and I can't remember when a group has gotten my attention so overwhelmingly and I am not the only one, it is very possible that this is best beat boxing I personally have ever heard and the blends of the voices add their versatility and they are becoming musical and internet sensations.

I'm soft on high tenors, and he's such a teddy bear, so I loved him from the start. But when our boys released this one, Mr. Rob showed me something I never knew he had. The guy on the right, Austin, used to sing on cruise ships and when the other 4 appeared on the same ship as a featured act they all met and became Home Free.
Congrats on discovering these guys. You've in for a wild ride. I am totally convinced that these guys can do ANYTHING. When they were on the Sing-off(a competition for a Cappella), one of the judges, Shawn, said about Austin "The boy's got chops. The boy can blow." If you get a chance, watch the segments they did on that show.
Thanks for turning me on to Home Free. I've loved Boyz2men since they came out. And I'm a big fan of great harmony groups like B2M, Take 6 and Pentatonix. Do you know Take 6? Their biggest hit from their debut album was "Spread Love", but i also loved "Get Away, Jordan" and "David and Goliath".

The one thing I will say about HF is do not put them in a box, if you explore them completely you will find a versaility that few artists have...they nailed this R & B classic we all agree but they also nail How great thou art, man of constant sorrow, My church, and tons of others across numerous genres....enjoy the journey!

I like them! They were touring. Then they entered the Sing Off contest. They were able to take the judges criticism and advise and apply it. I could see how they improved in some areas and.. well tried to go outside the box ... and decided they prefer staying inside, especially when it came to dancing. 😂

All of Home Free have at least 3plus octave range. Tim Foust has a 5 octave range A 0 to a 5. Most of them have a 4 octave range at least. And I agree on love of music having no color.

I just subbed. I love Home Free, they are acapella, no instruments and their harmonies are so good. This is a very "Unique" group. They are considered an all-vocal country group, but they take country songs and add a beat to it and make it something anyone could listen to from any genre, they also take pop hits and add country flava to them. Please check out their "Blue Ain't Your Color" cover it is a country song but they made it Motown is all I'm going to say. They have some good originals also. I enjoyed this, I agree w/ your opinion and reaction and thank you.
