I subbed for the Home Free videos. Whatever suggestions you get, please DO NOT react to their cover of Mayday until you have several more under your belt. That way, the surprise can be appreciated more. They really did kill End Of The Road. I think Sean from Boys To Men said this was the best cover of that song that he knew of.
Rob grew up singing in church, and it shows. We Home Fries love it when he "takes us to church". The fascinating thing about this group is that they all do EVERYTHING.....all ranges, sweet, sexy, powerful....even beat boxing. Chance, Austin and Tim have a few tricks up their sleeve with sound effects. Each one is amazing on their own, but together they are magic.
Sorry for the double comment, but I’ll recommend Home Free’s covers of Everybody Walking this Land (powerful!) and of Love Train (so much positive energy and good vibes).
Rob Lundquist (Tenor) - Beard & Glasses Austin Brown (High Tenor) Adam "Chance" Ray (Baritone) - 2nd Best Beard Tim Foust (Bass) - "The small part". He has longer hair here but has shorter hair with gray in more recent videos. Adam Rupp - Beatboxer Not in this video: Chris Rupp (Bald or Cowboy Hat) - He left in 2016 and was replaced by Chance. He is Adam Rupp's brother.
Kiki, they’re so good. When they were on the NBC show the Sing Off Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men was a judge and he loved them. I think they wanted to do right by him. Rob (lead here) was amazing! The guys left and right of Rob are not brothers. Tim is the bass singer (although he has a 5 octave range so he can sing high too) and the other was Austin who is the high tenor. There were brothers in this group before 2016. Adam Rupp, the beatboxer, had a brother Chris in the group who was the baritone. He usually wore a cowboy hat or ball cap. He was replaced by Chance in 2016. Chance is in the back with the short dark beard. They can sing any genre and they all take the lead depending on the song. Try Blue Ain’t Your Color, Can’t Stop the Feeling, Helplessly Hoping. Good reaction Kiki!😀
Welcome to the Home Fries! Glad to have you, and really enjoying your reactions. They all gave 110% but wow, Rob (middle) just got possessed by the spirit of soul or something.
Definitely watch at least 5 other songs BEFORE watching “Mayday”. I suggest (in no particular order): Helplessly Hoping Country Fried Pop Medley Yours Do You Hear What I Hear Ring of Fire (live version from the TV show “The Sing Off”, there are multiple videos of it here on UA-cam) This will give you a good overall impression of what each person sounds like and what role they play as part of the group. Then after that, you will be ready for “Mayday “
These guys do an amazing job of this song! They can do any genre including R&B. Rob's voice has so much feeling & soul in it. Austin adding his higher tones, Chance harmonizing in the back, Tim adding some bass & Adam with his fabulous vocal percussion. These guys are my favorite a cappella group out there. All their songs are good whether it is serious, heart warming or funny.
IMO, nothing will ever replace the original magic from hearing Boyz 11 Men sing this masterpiece, & I am so happy that Home Free, was able to keep the original integrity of the song, yet still inject their own magic, allowing us, to fall in love with it, all over again 💕 *I don't believe any other group, other than Home Free, could have pulled this off, & the fact that they are an a Capella group, puts them on a completely different level of skill & talent* 💕
Rob being "dangerous"! His runs are wild. Great reaction. Btw, the your facial expression in the thumbnail is priceless. Reminds me of almost everyone's look when they heard Rob singing opera, except everyone was swallowing flies with their dropped jaws of astonishment.
Love me some Homefree!!! They killed this song! They are perfect! You are going to have so much fun going down this rabbit hole! Enjoy, I did! Lol Great reaction!🎶💖🎶
Tim Foust - Bass - 5 octave range (Born in Texas, lives in Tennessee) . Rob Lundquist - Tenor - Home Free Teddy Bear (Lives in Minnesota Adam Rupp - Beat boxer - He swallowed a drum kit and much more - Lives in Minnesota Austin Brown - High tenor - Home Free Heart throb (Born in Georgia, lives in Tennessee) Chance (Adam Chance) - Baritone/Bass - (Born in Florida, moved to Arkansas and lives in California
Congratulations on the 2K (+) subscribers because I'm one of them and I'm your fellow "HOME FRY!!! I told you HOME FREE is the "BOMB!!!" And your just beginning to get a little taste of what they're all about...and don't worry there is a lot more where this came from because their musical catalog is super deep!!! In the meantime just continue to enjoy the journey!!! Thanks again for this reaction too...It is much appreciated!!! Sincerely CR SoundDoctor 😉
When a man loves a woman and o holy night should definitely be on the list. Another great one is unchained melody like you’ve never heard before, with just Austin brown singing cause they made two versions.
Rob (tenor) is The lead here, Austin(Tenor) is the second lead, the Bass is Tim, Beatboxer is Adam and beside Beatboxer in the back is Chance a baritone/bass. Check out their cover of "Blue Ain't Your Color", and "Everybody Walking This Land"
I so want to go see these men live. They absolutely kill this song.. I love it. Boyz II Men.. incredible.. we know.. but Home Free doing it acapella .. wow.. How does it happen??
Just a reminder, most of them have their own YT pages ie Tim and Austin and Chance - so go and be impressed. One on the far left is Tim Foust and on the far right is Austin Brown
Never seen you before but l like what I saw! You are fun! Loved your reaction and welcome to the Home Fry band wagon! Try When a Man Love a Woman, Thinking out loud/ let’s get it on, Love Train, Listen to the Music!
I love your reaction. Rob had the main lead on this one and although every time he opens his mouth is gold, I consider this performance his shining moment. They are all exceptional but Rob Lundquist took this classic to a new level of greatness. ❤ 9:52
Tim Foust (bass) does stuff on his own channel that's well worth checking out if you like bass. Also, VoicePlay is another a capella group with an amazing bass - Geoff Castilucci (also has solo channel). Big a capella rabbit hole with Home Free, VoicePlay and Pentatonix.
Loved your reaction. I think you are a Home Fry too! ❤️ Please react to more of their songs. I’ll tag along on your journey! Sincerely, a forever Home Fry!
Some one recommended a couple of their funny videos and I agree with those with the addition that All About That Bass also has a outtakes or blooper reel that is even funnier. But I also want to add a few funny ones (never takes away from their incredible singing talent, mind you) that were recorded during their live shows. The first is titled Home Free BHH & WWTWWS. The 2 song titles are explained in the video. The other 2 are totally hilarious medleys. First is Guilty Pleasures, which has several versions but you'll most likely come across the "derailed" one, which is fine. Them going off script a bit makes it even funnier. The last is Songs That Didn't Make the Cut. The guy you don't recognize is Chris, Adam's (beatboxer) brother and co-founder or the group. I'm stopping there but you'll find so many great videos by Home Free. Enjoy!
Great reaction! Rob one quiz is the tenor with the soulful voice!! Austin Brown is the high tanner that was seeing with red hair and a beat boxer with the red hair is Adam Rupp the two bases are Tim Foust and Adam chance!! Home free is an amazing a cappella group… So many songs to listen to: try man of constant sorrow; “How great thou art”; “Bless the Broken Road “; “AAuld lang Syne”; “Try Everthing”; & “Can’t Stop the Feeling “!! So many many more songs from Home Free you’ll enjoy!!!
Love the reaction! If you want to see some more soulful singers like Home Free, check out Yebba "My Mind". I guarantee you that she will blow your socks off with the soul! She's kinda like if Adele and Jasmine Sullivan had a baby lol.
Chris Rupp a now former founding member on his tube channel did a 5 part History of HOW HOME FREE BECAME HOME FREE from early yrs to the Sing Off win in season 4 to now..pretty cool to get to know them
New subscriber 😎I like the way you react on your channel. I think your channel is going to grow fast. Keep up the good work. Thanks Robert from Atlanta.
Great reaction please keep bringing more HF and I hope Pentatonix if you haven't done HF When a man loves a woman please check it out I'm pretty sure you'll love it!!!
Kiki, I’ve been a “Home Fry” for quite some time now, but just came across your reactions tonight, and not only am I enjoying your style, but I’m loving that Joe Cool hoodie that you have on!! I imagine that you may live in Ohio and that you are obviously a Bengal fan! We had the chance to watch Joe when he was down here at LSU! Happy New Year!!
All Home Free is good but but my personal favs include The Ring of Fire w/Avi Kaplan, Man of Constant Sorrow, and The Butts Medley, or Workin' for a Livin' and American Pie w/Don or Quarantine, definitely When a Man Loves a Woman
Your reaction is just adorable! You must be a singer- you know a lot. One of my fave reactors, That Singer- calls the bearded lead singer, Gospel Rob. New sub!! ( check out their Butts Medley and How Great Thou Art. )
No they aren't related and actually Tim on the left is taller than Austin on the right. I'll check back and if you've continued down the HF rabbit hole (which I'm betting you will because it's a really fun place to explore) I'll happily subscribe.
Kiki, you are a beautiful person and I enjoyed your reaction! Only one thing would make it a little better- if the video your reacting to was more visible. It’s so transparent it nearly dissolves. Otherwise I give props to you for your production. 😊❤
Kiki: You better give me that run.
Me: Hold on to your seat sweetie... he is just getting started!
Welcome to the Home Fry family!
🤣 That's fact!!!
I subbed for the Home Free videos. Whatever suggestions you get, please DO NOT react to their cover of Mayday until you have several more under your belt. Always good to see another reactor turn into a Home Fry! If you enjoyed Rob's lead on this, try Catch Me If You Can - he kills it.

Loved the reaction ! Shawn from Boyz II Men was one of the judges when Home Free won the Sing-Off.
Welcome to the Home Fries! Glad to have you, and really enjoying your reactions. They all gave 110% but wow, Rob (middle) just got possessed by the spirit of soul or something.
I like how you talk to em thru the screen, like they can hear you, I do the same thing.....I'm subbed...
SideNote: Go BROWNS...
Definitely watch at least 5 other songs BEFORE watching “Mayday”. I suggest (in no particular order):
Helplessly Hoping
Country Fried Pop Medley

It's the fact that they are individually gifted, and work together! No one stands out! Or, 🤔 maybe they all do...yep, that's it!!! 😁

Is that a Joe Burrow shirt? Who Dey!
Yes who deyyyy!
Who Dey Cincinnati in the house!!
I'm also waiting until you get one of the funny ones...like Butts Remix or All About That Bass...LOL
Since you like the fanbase nicknames, here is the one that I think you will want to adopt. "Pentafry" for a fan of both PTX and HF.
I identify as a pentafry!
You should watch their comedic side. The Butts Remix is so funny.
No they aren't related and actually Tim on the left is taller than Austin on the right. I'll check back and if you've continued down the HF rabbit hole (which I'm betting you will because it's a really fun place to explore) I'll happily subscribe.
Thanks for the video. I enjoyed it.
Girl, you are adorable!
LOVED YOUR REACTION🤩
“Panty dropper” 😂
That's big Rob
Rob Lundquist in the middle.
The guys really nailed this one and what can you say about (the middle gu) Rob? PERFECTION! BTW, my youngest daughterrs nickname is Kiki too. 😁😁

You should listen to them do Mayday, and Listen to the Music, and Man of Constant Sorrow.
It helps being friends with boyz to men which they are and very well influenced by.
Kiki, you are a beautiful person and I enjoyed your reaction! Only one thing would make it a little better- if the video your reacting to was more visible. It’s so transparent it nearly dissolves. Otherwise I give props to you for your production. 😊❤
Rob is the middle one, tenor, for a white guy, has a lot of soul! 😮
Love your reaction! Subscribed!
Thank you ^_^
CK out a fun video Between a Rock and a Heartache.
Have you heard Home Free 'Blue Ain't Your Color?'

Is it safe to say that you are officially a "Home Fry?"
They are the Joe Burrow of song. 😊
