Great reaction bro! I always get a kick out of it when you look at the camera and grin! Thanks
Love it when you have that grin on your face and do the rewind for Tim. I feel the same way.
There exists a video of Home Free at an outdoor concert where Tim drops an F2 and melts the sounds system. He literally blew out the speakers.
Love the look Austin and Rob give each other just before that last low note. They know it’s going to blow everyone’s mind. On a personal note...I love your eyes.
Thanks for mentioning that look between Austin and Rob. I never noticed it before!
Neither have I! Thanks!
I love that look too!
I loved your reaction here and I agree with you on all counts. I believe they can do anything, and do it well also.
I am so sorry people are giving you such a hard time. There is no call for it, if they don't like your channel, then move on. Plain and simple. Now back to this video & your reaction. Adam did a phenomenal job holding down that beat. And Tim....he's such a beast with those low notes. If you watch his hands, you'll see him playing those scales. You always know where he's going by watching his hands. But...did you notice that he not only hit that low massive note, but he held it for 13 seconds,, which is normal unheard of by a bass. 6-7 seconds yes, but never that long, or have it as steady, or as strong, as he did it. Thank you, for another fantastic reaction. I hope your day gets better, if not...come back and we'll cheer you up.
Just love watching your face! Even though you've seen the one with Avi and knew what was coming it was still obviously a delight.
11/2/2019 Home Free played right up the road in Lynn Ma. They played to a medium size crowd, and shook the house with Tim Faust’s bass.
The entire show was over the top. I can’t wait till they start touring again.
A funny little story about the reggae beat in this song. The music producers were pushing the guys to do something different in their arrangement for ROF and Adam Rupp threw out this reggae beat never expecting anyone to like it but they did. lol
Best part of your reactions is when you look into the camera with that huge smile. I love that!!! I'm sending a huge smile right back at ya, every time!
I believe this particular performance won the competition for them even tho it was only the 3rd performance. First standing ovation of the series that yr. It was great! I love to see Austin & Rob look at each other & smile right before Tim lets that massive note drop. They know it's coming. Everytime I hear it & see Tim gear up for it, I always think, "Mic drop!" LOL! I also had the same reaction you did; I replayed it over & over & over...!! 😄 Great reaction!!!
I have watched this video hundreds of times but I still rewind that ending a few times everytime..I think it's funny as they are coming down right before Tim drops the "fire" that Austin gives Rob a " this is going to be epic" look
I really enjoy watching people discover Home Free and I know you saw the album version with Avi from PTX. I hope some day you see these guys live in concert.. I saw the for the first time in April and when they sang this song and Tim hit that bomb of a low not I can't put into words how it hits you. I believe that some said it shakes your chest with the low note, it does. Tim shook dust from the rafters and I swear the air shook.
I see them live again in may for the second time and this time, I'm in the very front row! SO excited
Just saw them in Knoxville last week and yes, when Tim hit that low note, I could feel my internal organs vibrate!
That note Tim hits at the end is a F1#. He does this every night when they perform, so live or studio makes no difference. He has a 5 octave range.
That smile cracks me up. Great job.
Thanks Pops!!!
You should hear him do it live in concert he will rattle the freaking walls.
I love coming back and watching your reactions again. I laugh every time Tim bottoms out on that last note. You know the judges had to guess it was coming and Tim still shocked then! The looks on their faces is priceless! ❤
I Honestly Believe that the Honourable Johnny Cash would Approve!!!
This is just one of my many perrformances I love
Each voice is tremendous and the sum is greater than the parts. They each have habitual physical things in their performances. Tim uses his hand often, especially the lower notes. It's like a tell as he mentally reaches for the notes and caresses them.
I love the honesty of your reactions.
❤️ enjoy your reactions, your analysis, respect
DS hi, thank you again for a great reaction. Your facial expressions and that naughty grin of yours always make me smile, giggle and laugh out loud. Just like a naughty school boy! Like you, I love Home free, so I'm a true home fry. Stay safe.
The WTF moment was priceless. Thanks.
Yay more Sing Off! 🥰 I do not see why ppl be giving you such a hard time. Your reactions are genuine and honest and heartfelt. 😒🙄🥰😂 Keep persevering sweetheart & we'll keep on coming back for more! ❤
I defy you to listen to Home Free and be in a bad mood. I can't do it!
And the biggest reason is hearing Tim drop those bombs.😳😍
Hi DramaSydE. I hope this video and the Home Fry’s comments brought you some joy today. I loved your reaction.
I love this performance because it shows what they can do live and because the standing ovation from the judges was so spontaneous and enthusiastic. I appreciated your comments about their stage presence and movement too. Kristin Denehy, a choreographer they worked with on The Sing Off, is still their choreographer who plans out their stage movements for each tour and at least one video (that I know of). I think they learned a lot on the show
they did, thank you very much!!
I saw them in concert a couple of weeks ago. Whenever Tim would hit those lowest notes your WHOLE body would vibrate!!
This is my favorite of the two renditions of the song that they do. Don't get me wrong, I like the one with Avi, but there is something about this one I like just a tad better. Thanks! ^_^
This version is in a slightly lower key, and so the low note at the end is actually lower than the one with Avi in it, to me that's part of what makes it more amazing.
I concur!
I'm guessing McCary might have hit a note like that just having fun jamming on the road or something. But even for the few in the world who can hit that note who would think to put it in a live performance? lol. Great innovation and taking advantage of their talents by Home Free.
Thank you for reacting to this and actually going through the entire clip, with the judges and all. It's one of my favs of theirs.
They got to do End of The Road :) I went in with an eyebrow raised like " ok how is this going to work" but as usual I was wowed. I probably wouldn't request some of those older classic rock tunes from them because they often involve intricate guitar solos that it would be a real shame to leave out, but still, I trust them to know how to make anything awesome. I am still in awe how they do it and the time he blew the speakers still makes me giggle( was on Your Man live think Mary C still has it up ) the sound guys were soooo not ready lol
Actually, “Ring of Fire” was written by Johnny’s wife, June Carter Cash. She was extremely gifted and talented, and worth a look for a reaction video.
I saw HF live in Oct and when Tim hits this low note, you feel your organs vibrate inside your body! It was insane!
I can just imagine that if Johnny was still alive he'd be right in the middle with these guys.
That was so much fun to watch you enjoy that performance !!! The best reaction ever !!! More Home Free please !!
I watch this reaction often - love your "low note grin!"
This is one of my favorites of Home Free's from the Sing off. They are fabulous. Drama love your reactions, weather they are good or bad! You have a great personality! You should check out
"Some girls do" Home Free cover the video version...i hope you like it!
The 4th one is so much fun i cant wait for you to react to it. Right after that they have they have the sing off vs filharmonic which i love
Dragons breath, that last note is amazing.
I just wanted to say thank you for doing the reactions that you do. Whether it's a Home Free reaction or other artists. You're reactions are soooo good. Thank you again and please don't stop doing reactions. Much love
I appreciate that
Your grin is so cute..it cracks me up when you do it..
Love your reactions to Home Free. I think I like this performance better than the one with Avi (though that one is really good too). Thanks much!!
totally agree
I think it’s the judges’ reactions that does it
Love Home Free...Love you❣✌
sir you been dipped in the grease your an HOME FRY now
yes Tim has a 5 octave range and is very personable and you are right they carry themselves very well truth!
I love your reactions.
Screw the haters.
Be who you are.
Who the everloveingfuck can hold a growl tone for that long?! The first time I saw them do this was when Avi did it with them. I did exactly what you did- goofy smile playing the last ten seconds over and over hahaha
You ought to see the Video where they are standing around a Big Fire!! That is Good!!
Grandma B 🐝💕
I'm really not sure which I enjoyed more, Home Frees performance or Your reaction. I can almost feel your surprise and joy while watching this. Keep it coming.
I always felt Johnny Cash's versions was ok, but nothing to write home about. Then I heard Home Free do this song and thought, "wow, what a great song!"
I hope your day got better after this song! If you can you must see them live, It's an overwhelming experience that stays in the body for a long time
You’re reaction is fire!! (That wtf moment! Lol!) I’m going back and rewatching your Home Free reactions! 🙌🏻❤️
Love your face when Tim does Tim's stuff. You really need to try, even for yourself if you want to listen to Jacob Collier - All night long, I play music from 20 years and I never seen anything like that!
Great reaction btw!
This is a great video. I always like to see the performers enjoying themselves and I like your reactions..
love this version better than the one with avi
Check out their mix of thinking out loud/let’s get it on
I think Tim set off my smoke alarm and opened my garage door with the F2. Holy Schnikey!
Ok...I'm a fan..I rewatch and rewatch your reactions!!! I just love them! ^i^
Yasssss more sing off❣ This is my performances with that last note at the end and Rob and Austin giving each other "that look" like this is gonna blow up...🤣🤣🤣 Another great reaction...blessings 👏❤👏
This guys are perfect and so handsome
Has anybody requested any of the songs from the Johnny Cash 'Everybody Loves a Nut? The song "I'm Being Swallowed by a Boa Constrictor' comes to mind.
I LOVE YOUR REACTIONS, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOY LIKE SOMETHING & YOU TO US WITH THAT SPECIAL GRIN😃
Don't let the haters get you down, i.e. let the haters hate - some people can *never* be satisfied. You are MY favourite reactor, for whatever that means. ❤️
P.S. Do you have a Patreon or something similar?
I've watched this a hundred times and love it every time
And go Pats !
Have you seen/hear their version with Avi Kaplan of this song? If not its just as awsome as this👌
Yes, I reacted to it on this channel
@@DramaSydETV ofc you did, my bad my man! Have a nice day!
Nice reaction! Are you going to react to the other Sing Off performances? I hope you’ll finish all those performances!,
You have to watch this video, it will give you a sense of how they give their all for a performance.
Colder Memory Lapse - What They Were Thinking
I saw your face when Tim went way down and then swung way up into the tenor range. I'm thinking you just might LOVE to react to the songs I'm going to link after I'm finished listening to this reaction.
Done listening, and I agree with you all the way through. :-D Thanks so much for your solid, yet fun analysis. \0/
These next songs will give you some more experience with Tim's range (A0 - A5). There is another Tim (Tim Storms: www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/greatest-vocal-range-male/ ), who has a much larger range than that. He was Tim Foust's mentor, and remains a good friend. The most amazing thing about Tim's voice (to me), is his ability to go up and down his entire scale, without even showing much of any change on his face (except pure delight every now and again). :-) These songs, by the way, are all a cappella. The last one is with Chris Rupp, whom you've seen in the Sing Off videos. He's the one who began Home Free, but he bowed out in 2016, leaving way for Adam Chance to take over the Baritone part. Chris' range is four octaves. His and Tim's voices go together extremely well, as you'll hear. The one I like the best of all five these, though, is "Greensleeves," for showing off Tim's artistry. Enjoy!

Grandma's Gone Gaming Just a question...in the third paragraph towards the end, did you mean to say that Chance has a four octave range?
Yes! Thank you! Please react to Home free, Oh holy night, and angels we have heard on high. Beautiful. Jessie J: I have nothing, domino, killing me softly, flashlight/earth song, purple rain, my heart will go on, and reflection. All from Singer 2018. Also, Tori Kelly: Crazy by seal, souls Anthem, just tori stuff in general lol. Oh...PLEASE DO VOCTAVE ON THE CHANNEL!! You won’t be disappointed! I love your Pentatonix and Home Free reactions.
There's a much lesser known A Capella group known as Voiceplay, and they have a video Boy Bands In 5 Minutes you should check out!! Now I hate boy bands, but their version is amazing!!
I really enjoy that video. Just a note...their definition of “boy bands” is a little broad...they include groups who were popular before the term “boy band” was used to describe young male vocal groups. I still love the video.
It was a G1 and he can sing 5 octaves!!!
Thanks for the bridge.
Of course this is Johnny Cashs' song. It came from a dream that his wife June had
You might enjoy:
*"Winter Winds,"*
*"Lights on the Hill"* or
*"Looking Forward, Looking Back"*
All by _Slim Dusty_ an Australian singer of some skill.
I love home free, especially Tim Foust ... he is so freakin funny
More please .
Astute ear you have .
That bass is getting down into J.D.Sumner "s range ...
🔥🔥🔥👏🏼😍🥰✌🏽
'in my opinion'.... :) we appreciate and love your opinions... keep ya voice, sir :) :)
😂🤣😂oh brother
❤️
"Ring of Fire" was written by Cash's wife, June Carter.
7:09 We all know what you just mouthed, bud. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot indeed.
💲🙌
they are great,,,so are you,,,but you need to watch "colder Weather-Memory Lapse" . It is so funny ..but they take forgetting lyrics even better than a perfect performance
holy shit dam
Only thing wrong is that it ends!
Your reactions are great and it is why people are tuning in. Voice Play has a bass singer that also gets to that same low note area but Tim definitely blows out sound systems.
Please try The highway men.
Well nm. You listened to it already...lol.
What's wrong??? Too short! Lol
Hey Tar Heel how much damage you think they could do at Carnegie Hall ???!!!!
The only thing wrong was that it was too short!
Could you please play "Luther Vandross Superstar (from Live at Wembley)" ?
Can I request Home Free Honey I'm Good
The fact that people are still giving you a hard time is insane. If they don’t like what you’re doing, they can just move onto another video. I don’t get what’s so hard about that. My momma taught me that if I didn’t have anything nice to say then don’t say anything at all. 🤷🏾♀️
I'll tell you whats wrong with this song... We were not there to see it live and in person !! Damnit !!
Watch this one:
ua-cam.com/video/69WhycesOaE/v-deo.html
I wouldn't call it a "bad" performance in any way, but they are human lol
Love your reactions! Thanks for covering Home Free-the best damn vocal band in the land:) They are even more awesome live and sound as good...very fun entertainers! ^I^
Home Free really showed their experience in this performance. These grown men were already professionals before they showed up at the Sing-Off. I'm sure they learned some things on the show. But more importantly, the world learned about Home Free! They're magnificent. Thanks for playing that ending over...and over... and over! If you hadn't backed it up, I would have. In fact, I did back it up a couple more times!
