Wow I am quite happy that Bernard was part of the nwr in my head cannon for Bernard he came part of the north western railway in 1948 along with Stanley Afton Alled Christopher and Phil to help with the trains on the mainline and the little western and he continues to do so to this very day
Thank you for that bonus scene I am very relieved that Bernard and Walter's other three friends got new homes I am very relieved to hear they didn't get scrapped
Even though, Bernard had a bad attitude when he first came to Sodor, he reformed and became a really useful engine every year, when it's summer time on the Island. I felt sorry for him, when his quarry line was closing and he was worried that Sir Topham Hatt may not have enough room for him on his railway, due to have so many engines, he has. But in the end, Bernard became a permanent resident member on Sir Topham Hatt's railway, working on the Little Western with Duck, Donald, Douglas & Oliver, so that he can survive and not get scrapped. Willter the wooden engine also became a permanent resident member on Sir Topham Hatt's railway to surprise Bernard and he will also be at the Vicarstown museum.
Bernard is almost the same as a Photographic Grey Saddle Tank Engine of the 0-6-0 type. The Photographic Grey Saddle Tank Engine I have in model form has a difference: she has outside cylinders. I've named her Spookie the Ghost Saddle Tank Engine, her number is 1361. In real life, she worked hard and never complained. But her sweet nature wasn't enough to save her from the cutter's torch. Legend has it that if you visit a lonely scrapyard, either at night or in daylight, you will hear the forlorn shrill whistle of Spookie, the engine who wants a friend but couldn't escape from the scrapyard. She longs for the second chance she never got.
I'm so glad that Bernard will be a permeates resident on Sodor. To tell you the truth I always knew he will eventually be living there on the island, it was so fitting that he'll be working on the Great Western branch as it suits him well. By the way what class is Bernard?
When I saw that Bernard is now a permanent resident on Sodor, I had the five minute mark of ua-cam.com/video/TisiiNPG-SI/v-deo.html in my head. I've been editing because the comments on the linked videos kept getting shut off.
For Walter he should have been sent to the Peel Godred Line it is the only route on the island to have electric wires. I wonder if Walter will be mistreating Class 88 Electro-Diesel
I'm a bit confused the narration said there were three engines working in The colony such as Bernard and two of his unnamed friends but I just saw a purple steam engine make a cameo is there for engines
That was a splendid story. I felt sorry for Bernard when he was worried about his place closing down. But it was sweet that there were engines who wanted him saved and given a place on Sodor. What a story and I was amazed to see Richard in the story. How did you get permission to have him in the story? :)

Richard is a kind old puffer! And that kindness is the result of his experience with being close to scrap!
The stories featuring Bernard I think are some of the best ones! Mind you they all are quite good!
I'm so happy to know that Bernard is now a permanent edition to the Fat Controller's Railway!
2:38 This is the same horn sound as Peak’s.
Wonderful and emotional story! Love that message at the end!
What a happy ending for Bernard! HE LIVES!
Bernard is safe!
Oh Yes Bernard Has Been Saved.
Well come home Bernard!

I'm happy for Bernard. He changes his attitude and he has a new home on Sodor! I'm starting to like him now.
Are you also happy for his other three friends
The colliery must be in the Wath area as it was served by the Woodhead electrics and the Yorkshire coalfield around Barnsley / Rotherham.
where did you get richards model from please

@@TB76Returns What about I may ask?

One question? Why was Walter not put on the peel godred line it has electric wires so he can run on it why didn’t you put him on that line?
Thanks to preservation for saving steam locomotives from scrap
Where did you've get the other horns for class 76?
Richard knows that! But the Fat Controller is going to take Bernard on! Still has a problem with Woodhead line!
I like that the class 77 had a yorkshire accent because woodhead is in the Yorkshire mores
For Walter he should have been sent to the Peel Godred Line it is the only route on the island to have electric wires. I wonder if Walter will be mistreating Class 88 Electro-Diesel
Oh boy! This seems interesting

Hi
So sad
D700 1
If the Woodhead Line closed in 1981, does this mean this episode take place in the 1980s?
Yes, around 1986/87
What a happy ending for Bernard! HE LIVES!
