As a resident of North America this is my measuring stick. The OnePlus 12 will operate globally. The same cannot be said for the zenfone.
Not taking anything away from the OnePlus 12, I have it, but the Zenfone 11 Ultra will operate globally as well.
@@JustinPennito in the past, phones from that manufacturer have not ran well here in north america. In addition, they don't really have any serious footprint here either. If you asked 100 people on the street here in the United States about their products, about 99 of them would never have even heard of them. That doesn't mean that they have bad products because, that would be untrue. That also leads me to third-party support. Try to find a high quality Case or a screen protector and it will be a serious wake up call.
@@JustinPennito channels 13 and 30 are missing on Zenfone. In North America this could present a problem with connectivity especially while roaming
You get more years of updates with the OnePlus 12
OnePlus 12 is better overall
Which habe the best speakers ?
I have the Zenfone 10, had the 7 and the 5Z. All shoot beautiful Video, but pics are sometimes not as nice
I'm super happy with my OnePlus 12, starting with the call quality is excellent😊
Last year's ZenFone was released in June 2023 so the ultra coming out recently means there may just be a regular. Let's hope it don't look like the 11 pro.
Waiting for Zenfone 11 lite with 7 plus gen 3 chip 😢
Can't use the Zenfone on all US carriers.
Oneplus phones are generally quite aggressive in killing background apps though
Nope. One my OnePlus 12 apps stay on for hours. In same state
If you compare both phones side by side, which I did, the Zenfone 11 Ultra ist clearly the better phone: way brighter display, up to 1.700 nits, whereas OnePlus display is way to dimm (only 1.150 nits). There isn´t even a HBM on OP12! If you use automatic mode for LTPO on OP12 a lot of apps stuttering or running with 90Hz. And I shoot a lot of photos with both phones. Sometimes Zenfone is better, sometimes OP12. To say, OP12 is the clear winner, is just bullshit. The better more fluid UI, much brighter and better display and really better loudspeakers go to Zenfone 11 Ultra. The only thing the Zenfone falls behind the OP12 are the major updates (2 vs 4) and the telephoto camera. That´s it.
Much fluid UI, don't agree. OxygenOs is so much more fluid....
And the design of OnePlus 12 with curved edges is still better than ugly camera bump on Zenfone 11...Camera os OnePlus 12 is definitely better than Zenfone 11.
How many years of Android update does Asus promise for this smartphone 🤔
Because everyone knows that software tracking at Asus is catastrophic.
And honestly, I think that this Asus Zenphone 11 Ultra has no reason to exist, it doesn't bring anything more than the Asus Rog Phone 8 and even a OnePlus 12, quite the opposite 🤷🏽♂️
Asus should have taken the design of the Zenphone 7 Pro with its rotating selfie camera, and moved to 4 years of Android update.
2 Android Upgrades and 4 years security
@@lltechview Are there really people who are going to put $1000 into this thing 🤦🏽♂️
Honestly, I'd like to have as much money as these people to waste.
@@rolins3279 It depends on needs. I know people who don't like to have the newest Android as long as the device runs and gets security updates.
@@lltechviewI mean, they’re just putting more money in the company’s pocket at that point. Less OS updates they have to put out, the more money they save from not having to do the R&D. But people will always be fascinated with the more glamorous hardware stuff rather than the boring software.
@@superiortoall22I don't get it. This things like an S24 Ultra but without the hefty price tag and I don't get why you need super new android versions always
Oneplus better
No brainer! One Plus 12 100% all the way....not to mention that new Asus is FUGLY!
If only the zenfone 11 was compact. Ugh
