Was Dolby Atmos turned on? Most reviewers are raving about the speakers. Unless they aren't using those amazing 5magnet drivers they use in all their other phones.
I really like the design, very clean and minimal. Unfortunately as you mentioned the cameras fall well short of the iphones and samsung ultras. Asus also simply doesnt have the brand recognition to get away with not including the charger in the box here in North America at least. Is this even available in Canada?

It doesn't even have a proper app opening animation; It's like I made the speed 2x from the developer options. This option alone makes samsung look very repulsive
Imagine of the Asus 11 will come with a 6.1" display, a 4600mah, a triple camera setup and a USB-C 3.x 😮 But idt that's happening because of the conservative approach that Asus takes.

Samsung's predatory pricing and seven-year support have meant that, at least in the Global market, ASUS and Chinese OEMs are sinking. Also, compact phone sales are in decline. ASUS, therefore, went the most economical route and just debranded the ROG Phone and called it the Zenfone. If that means they can survive that is better than not.
Just wanted to comment that baby Thao is so cute. My daughter is a little older, but seeing those shots just brings me back to the simpler days when they were so tiny and cute and didn't give you sass over everything 🤣 Don't worry I love my sassy little girl! She keeps me on my toes.
Just stopped by to say this is a big mistake by Asus. There are way better "big" phones readily available. I was waiting for a proper Zenfone 11 but jumped on the Xiaomi 14 once it became clear Zenfone is dead.
You have always been able to do app folders in the app menu, you just hold a app and move and drop it onto another app, and Bing, a folder 📂 then add whatever apps you want.

If you want to come back to the smartphone market you have to come really strong. Don't try it out, but do it like you have been there. People are trying to try out new things rather than these big names but you have to come strong

The I can honestly say in the android market, Samsung is just soo much smoother and better than the rest.
