Hi James , How 'ya doin' ? :) Captain America is a Super Soldier and he can hold his own . You will see that in the Avengers Movie and in the second Movie of Captain America the Wintersoldier (one of my favorite Marvel Movies). His Shield is virtually unbreakable because it's made of a special Material (Vibranium)
For all the surprising levels of kickassery Captain America can unleash, his nature as a moral example is what I'd consider most important. A hero is one who inspires others to follow their example, and by that standard Captain America is one of the finest heroes ever put to ink.
Steve Rogers is a "super soldier" - he can be injured but he has super-human strength and healing. Next is The Avengers. You are on the cusp of the make-or-break team up movie that solidified the MCU as a force to be reckoned with. Great reaction! Can't wait to see more of your reactions to the MCU.
When he's doing the bond sales shows and punches out Hitler that's a direct homage to the first Captain America comics cover, which came out in the 1940s.
When steve and bucky go to the stark expo you can see a man in a tube, that is the first human torch who was created before johnny storm of the fantastic four and is considered the first marvel superhero, ironically the first human torch was an android
I absolutely love this movie. I think they did a fantastic job nailing the flagship character of the Marvel Universe. Everything from the way they show Steve Rogers wanting to prove himself to the villainous plot wrapped up in a World War 2 setting. The cast was great, as were the effects. I even felt bad when Bucky fell from the train not long after being reunited with Steve.
The chemical used to transform Steve Rodgers into Captain America is an early version Bruce Banner uses in the future when his mishap with the Gamma rays changes him into the Hulk.
I think I might be one of the few in the camp who enjoy seeing Captain America's original GI costume. Just love the look of basically him being very much like a soldier and yet there are little subtleties that show that he is someone different.. Of course, his later hero suit looks very darn cool too.
You must understand the goofy uniform he was wearing on stage wasn’t not to the classic comic books from March 1941 in the Captain America comic book they gave him his classic uniform as a nod to the fans and the heritage of his early identity. Comic book fans would really appreciate the goofy costume as it is part of the history off the character. Much the same way what they did in the first Iron Man movie where he had the clunkier suit in the beginning that too was a nod to Iron Man‘s humble beginnings that’s what he look like in the early comic books. They do this with several characters to appeal to the comic book fans nostalgia and then they upgrade the suits into something more modern and cooler.
Hulk is a super-soldier experiment gone wrong. Captain America is a super-soldier experiment done right. So he is very strong, has fast reflexes, fast-healing, and super smart. One reason why he was able to survive 70 years frozen on ice is because of this. The shield is made of vibranium which makes it defy physics and is super strong. What makes Captain America stand out is his leadership skills, his sheer determination (i.e. "I can do this all day"), and his clear sense of right and wrong.
This is one of my favorite MCU movies! The director of this movie, Joe Johnston, did a movie back in the early 90's called The Rocketeer. It is also a period piece and has so much of the same feel as Captain America! It is most certainly an Awesome movie! If you like Captain America then I highly recommend The Rocketeer! Best Regards!
@@Spottedfeather I like the two movies just about equal, I think they're both great. And even with movies so similar like these two, they are still different stories and need different types of characters to tell them.
LOVING these MCU reactions and can’t wait for you to see what’s coming. I would recommend you maybe don’t view posters for the movies ahead of time moving forward just to be safe and avoid spoilers. It’s about to get awesome!

Knowing that you like the Lord of the Rings book and seen the movies you might recognize that the Red Skull actor as Elrond from Lord of the Rings. Also Liv Tyler from Hulk played Arwen.
@@AwesomeUSMovies also the actor for Gollum (Andy Serkis) will show up in the MCU at some point. He is also Snoke in the new Star Wars trilogy the leader of the first order.
This is one of my favourite Marvel movies Captain America to many people has the best Trilogy with Winter Solider and Civil War being two of the most beloved movies both under the Captain America name even though the comic of Civil War featured everyone the movie rendition focuses a lot on Captain America's side but I'll not go into that because of spoilers. Captain America like alot of Marvel characters does get a good amount of suits throughout the movies around eight I believe. The Avengers suit is pretty interesting but man does the later suits look so much better. I believe they based the suit on Caps time on the stage using this as a reference as this is how most people pictured Captain America in the Marvel universe. The later suits are much more militant and look great while still carrying the iconic colours just not as bright compared to the Avengers suit. Fun detail but Wolverine (Member of the X-Men who are not apart of the MCU unfortunately but exist in the same universe in the comic's, games etc.) was actually a member of Captain America's Howling Commandos before he was known as Wolverine. Because of Legal rights with Fox owning the movie rights to X-Men at the time Marvel couldn't have Wolverine show up at all even a small cameo. The idea was actually thrown around but never happened. Disney now owns Fox so who knows i would love to see the X-Men in the MCU by far my favourite team and tackles some very strong real world subjects such as racism with the X-Men pretty much being a Metaphor For The Civil Rights Movement with Mutant rights etc. MCU Universe (Earth-199999) In the MCU the Hulk is actually linked very heavily to Captain America as Banner was commissioned by Thaddeus Ross to recreate the Super Soldier Serum that was used on Captain America. However, Ross elected not to inform Banner what he was creating. During the experiment, Banner was exposed to dangerous levels of gamma radiation. Ultimate Universe (Earth-1610) Ultimate was a modern reboot of the main marvel comic universe launching in 2000 lasting until the mid 2010s i believe but in this universe Nick Fury commissioned Banner to recreate the Super Solider Serum, Banner tested it on himself but it went wrong Turing him into the Hulk. Main Comic Universe (Earth-616) Banner was exposed to heavy doses of gamma radiation, by a Gamma bomb after he ran into the testing site to push a civilian, a teenager named Rick Jones, Banner into a protective trench saving the teens life but Banner was caught in the blast. The MCU in general takes a lot from the main Marvel Universe and the Ultimate Universe best of both worlds as you can see from the MCU Hulk origins it has a mix of both. I also love how this film is connected to Iron Man with Tony's dad playing a big part in the story of Captain America and of course Asgard and Odin being mentioned linking to the greater universe as the Asgardians played a big part in Earth's history. The Avengers is next this blew us away in 2012 all these members built up to this the final movie of Phase 1 which led the way for Phase 2 and even more movies, hero's, villages, and stories. Hope you enjoy Avengers as much as we did in 2012.
Hulk and Thor are the two most powerful avengers...both can withstand severe punishment ie explosions . Hulk has tough skin to penetrate. Captain america is someone who is at peak human condition...he can be killed but can withstand punishment the average human can't because his cells regenerate 4x that of a human and can heal rapidly.
Yeah I get that but.. to what extent? Like how "Super Human" is he? I've very interested to see what types of danger he is placed in the future and how he recovers from them. It's an interesting dynamic.
@@AwesomeUSMovies don't know if anyone else covered it, or how much you learn from watching the other Marvel movies, but he isn't "Superhuman" at all. At least, he's not supposed to be. He's supposed to be the peak of human perfection. Basically as strong, fast, agile, and resilient as a human is capable of being. The movie version is slightly upgraded over the comic version. He is also constantly training. He simply works harder at being the best than anyone else. If a hundred guys had gotten the same serum he did, he would probably still be the best of them because of how hard he works. Basically, it's the heart and spirit in him that makes him truly special. Also, The shield is one of the most incredible creations in all of Marvel Comics. I've already rambled a lot here, and it would take far too long to explain what the shield is. But it's not like Thor's hammer, or magnetic. The reason that it usually returns to him is that he's practiced with it so much and gotten so good with it that he can basically do sick trick shots with it and ricochet off multiple enemies or surfaces and either bounce back to him, or to where he's going to be. It seems impossible, but it's basically the same principle as billiard trick shots.
When captain america throws his mighty shield All those who chose to oppose his shield must yield When hes drawn to a fight and the dual is due then the red the white and the blue with come through When captain america throws his mighty shield
The CAR was based on this accual car, The Mercedes-Benz W31 type G4 was a German three-axle off road vehicle first produced by Mercedes-Benz as a staff/command car for the Wehmacht in 1934. The cars were designed as a seven-seat touring car or closed saloon, and were mainly used by upper echelons of the Nazi regime in parades and inspections, as they were deemed too expensive for general Army use.
Another good reaction. I'm not sure if anyone pointed out yet, but in the scene where the dummy grenade is thrown and all the soldiers run ... there is one other that runs to the grenade besides Steve Rogers. If you look in the background on that scene, Agent Carter is also moving towards the grenade. Next up is watching your reaction to the Avengers. :)
The blue glowing cube is called the tesseract. A tesseract, in the real world, is a 4d cube. Eg a cube that traverses time and space....hence why it teleports redskull into space. A 4d cube in 3dimensions would appear as a 3d object in our 3d world much like the 3d sphere would appear as a 2d circle in a 2d world
I didn’t think it was possible in 2022 to hear someone say “Avenger 🤔. I have read some comic books, so I think I might know what an Avenger is.” Great reaction!! Liked and subscribed.
Since you enjoyed Captain America, you might want to check out the TV series... "AGENT CARTER". Same time period. Same characters, plus a few new ones... but minus Cap of course. Had a total of 2 Seasons before ABC... apparently not Disney... cancelled it. Fans of the show still would love a Season 3. BTW... it was very cool series.
I think Captain American appeared in Avengers comic number 4. Which seems appropriate to have him show up in the 4th movie. But I'm not sure .The original Avengers were Antman Hank Pym and the Wasp Janet Pym, Iron man, Thor and the Hulk.
Little note Thor is not a demigod. He is an actual Norse god. A demigod is a person where one of the parents is human and one of the parents is a god this is what a demigod is. For example Hercules was a demigod his father was Zeus and his mother was human. Both of Thors parents were Asgardians therefore he is a full-blown Asgardian.
The Valkyrie (Massive bomber Red Skull was flying at the end of the movie) is based heavily on the Horten XVIII Long Range Bomber. Alot of the tech you see in this movie used by Hydra are based on real life Nazi experimental weapons and vehicles with the the Cube being used as a source of power. The Marvel universe in general tends to be more advanced compared to our real world standards with most of the original comic's taking place in the 1960s and onwards in a world where Robots were possible and space travel such as the Fantastic Four. Of course the MCU is much much more like our world pushing all these hero's stories into the 2000s and 2010s but of course compared to our world we still don't have Iron Man's or laser weapons lol
Good call sparsing these MCU reactions amidst a variety of other types of movies and genres. For yourself and your channel audience. Interesting hearing the task of someone with some familiarity with the characters from your childhood memories of the comics. You know more about these characters than most of the people who watched these movies. I don’t know what Christmas movies you got lined up, recommending two beloved Christmas comedies. “Elf” and “Gremlins” And FYI, the MCU is its own beast. But there have been other movie adaptations of Marvel Comics outside of the MCU, that are definitely worth seeing. Most notable among them, “Spider-Man” from 2002. Though this Marvel film separate from the MCU, in many ways it paved the way for the MCU to be possible.
"throw him into space" A heh heh...heh...heh...yeah, um...about that...it, uh...in the comics, it resulted in an event called "World War Hulk"...perhaps it wasn't quite a good call...
There are a lot of more classic films that nobody reacts to. Stuff like "Silent Running," "The Andromeda Strain," "The Omega Man," "Day of the Triffids" and on and on back into the 1950s. Then you have modern fare that's overlooked like "Enemy of the State" (1998) and "Monsters" (2010) and "The Vast of Night" (2019). Everybody seems to hit the same list of flicks over and over again.
I’m also of course routing for Him, but I’m not enjoying these type of movies but I’m gonna get thru them with you no matter what… I think it’s avengers next, talk soon✌🏻☀️
I’m also hoping to see your reaction to Wonder Woman at some point! 🤞 But it’s worth noting that WW is in the DCEU, not the MCU - so don’t expect to see her fighting alongside Cap or Iron Man anytime soon

When are you going to watch The Avengers? :) This reaction was a month ago. You should at least watch The Avengers (2012) before giving up on the MCU. And if you like that one.. try to make it to Infinity War. Unlike Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Terminator, Aliens, or pretty much any other series, the MCU just keeps getting better and better the further along you go.

“Elf” and
“Gremlins”
And FYI, the MCU is its own beast. But there have been other movie adaptations of Marvel Comics outside of the MCU, that are definitely worth seeing.
Most notable among them,
“Spider-Man” from 2002.
Though this Marvel film separate from the MCU, in many ways it paved the way for the MCU to be possible.
Thanks for the info
Great reaction 🤘 keep the MCU coming 💯🤘
We will!
"throw him into space"
A heh heh...heh...heh...yeah, um...about that...it, uh...in the comics, it resulted in an event called "World War Hulk"...perhaps it wasn't quite a good call...
Cool, need more info
@@AwesomeUSMovies Shortest summary from a reliable source I could find:
ua-cam.com/video/Dywyv7EH9hw/v-deo.html
YES! Captain America!!! I’m definitely Team Cap all the way. I’m so happy you enjoyed this movie.
It's so good!
@@AwesomeUSMovies The Avengers is the culmination of all of these movies working together towards a common goal! You will enjoy that one.
The suit used in the staged USO shows is based on the original comic book version of Captain America back in the 40's.
Oh gotcha
Marvel's first superhero ❤️❤️
The scene with the flag is very nicely done. Work smart, not hard.
I think it's mostly based on popularity. I'm mostly going off what people are mostly requesting and what my boys think would be a good one to watch.
You should start a reaction channel & do those movies. I’m sure the 500 views you’d get for watching The Vast of Night will be really rewarding..
We do have personal submarines available, they are just very expensive. BTW, we also have very expensive flying cars and motorcycles.
? Flying cars and motorcycles? really Not actual federally approved for highways.
@@AwesomeUSMovies they do exist, just because the government hasn't fully approved them yet means nothing.
The car red skull was driving would be a highly modified Mercedes Benz
I think it's a real thing. Someone sent a link
Love this one! Cap is the most honorable man!
I do love his heart for humanity.
I’m also of course routing for Him, but I’m not enjoying these type of movies but I’m gonna get thru them with you no matter what… I think it’s avengers next, talk soon✌🏻☀️
Great video as always!!!
I love the Marvel movies! Great reaction! Can’t wait until you watch Wonder Woman !!!!
It's been a great ride so far
I’m also hoping to see your reaction to Wonder Woman at some point! 🤞 But it’s worth noting that WW is in the DCEU, not the MCU - so don’t expect to see her fighting alongside Cap or Iron Man anytime soon
It would be nice of Marvel made more movies set in the past.
One of the best Mcu movies
Yup, I love Cap
Love your ch...u should watch band of brothers... But only if u have seen saving private Ryan
Haven't seen either. I'll add them to my list. thanks
@@AwesomeUSMovies Ouhh Saving Private Ryan .That is (ImO) one of the Greatest War Movies I've ever seen but it's also extremely sad . I always have to cry when I watch saving private Ryan .I 100% agree that You should see it, but be prepared to get emotionally invested
Watching on the 4th. 'Merica!

Hope you enjoyed
Think I may have seen this once but really just seen the other marvel movies

Well you've now come across My personal 2 Coolest Ladies in The MCU Black Widow and Peggy Carter. I Love Black Widow, Her fights are amazing to watch, it's just like a Dance.

Great reaction 😁
Great reaction, can't wait for the Avengers.
Same here!
Saw it in theater. Can't remember any of it
Here is a comment for the algorithm.
I like this movie, but I feel like it's underrated.
i love your channel
You should've kept the comics. They're probably worth a lot nowadays.
You're right
Which marvel movie is your favorite so far?
I would say that you won't like the kind of person Captain America turns into in the movie Civil War, but I find that a lot people don't seem to care about people with bad morals being called heroes.
No spoilers please
Your microphone picks up just fine, you don't need to talk so loud, or yell.
Thanks
Looks like you didn't recognize David Bradley, aka Mr Filch from Harry Potter
No I totally didn't who was he?
@@AwesomeUSMovies near the beginning he's the monk who is hiding the power source behind the wall of the old church
there's not a bad movie from captain america series
Hi 🙋🏻♀️
When are you going to watch The Avengers? :) This reaction was a month ago. You should at least watch The Avengers (2012) before giving up on the MCU. And if you like that one.. try to make it to Infinity War. Unlike Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Terminator, Aliens, or pretty much any other series, the MCU just keeps getting better and better the further along you go.
Oh I'm not giving up on MCU. There's just a lot to watch. I'll be getting to it soon don't worry.
👍
Some good movies?
I thought this one was great
