I absolutely love this trilogy. not only is it very funny with cool fight scenes and beautiful artwork and well written stories, it also holds some VERY beautiful/emotional scenes and some amazing life lessons. I still hold the 2nd movie as one of thé best animated movies of all time, keeping the comedic sides of the first movie but taking a far more serious, deep and sad story. so I really hope you will react to that one too, because your reactions are an absolute joy to watch. but there is SO much attention to detail and symbolism in these movies. Like the scene where Shifu gives Po the dragon scroll; by blowing the petals up, he gets the dragon scroll to fall down and catches it with Oogway's cane, which just barely touches the water. or described in other words: with some effort, the tiniest change can tip the balance in your favour and cause a ripple effect as a result. the effort: in scene it is Shifu blowing the petals, but in the story it is Shifu and Po training. the tiniest change: in scene, it is the petal, but in the story it is Shifu starting to finally believe in Po and accepting that he can't always have controll. the ripple effect: in scene, the water, but in the story it is Po unlocking his true potential which in turn result in Po believing in himself and accepting himself, which results in him beating Tai Lung, which results in Shifu finally being at peace. Another great one is the one saying Oogway said in the beginning: "one often meets his destiny on the way he takes to avoid it." Trying to avoid Tai Lung's escape, caused his escape. Shifu trying to get rid of Po only strengthened his will to stay. Tai Lung wanting the scroll in the past resulted in Oogway denying it to him. Then later, Tai Lung finally getting the dragon scroll resulted in him being defeated. and there's a lot more in this film and the later ones. Or Po understanding the scroll. The answer has been hinted since the beginning. First the dad talked about the secret ingredient at the beginning, then during the peach tree scene between Oogway and Shifu, Oogway said "you have to believe". and then when Po gets the scroll, he says "it's blank", yet when Tai Lung gets it, he says "it's empty", symbolizing how Po saw a blank slate in himself, while Tai Lung only was emptiness once he got what he desired (he was so consumed by the scroll that getting the scroll was his entire identity. so once he got the scroll, he also lost his identity). and then at the end when Po's dad says "to make something special, you just have to believe it's special", making everything come full circle. okay sorry, I've been rambling on again. I am just VERY passionate about the Kung Fu Panda trilogy. I honestly could make an hour long analysis on just the first movie alone and still have a lot left to say. so before this gets to long, I will just cut myself off here and just say: love you, love your authenticity and love your reactions.
@@AwesomeUSMovies As a Christian, I personally really, really love The Prince of Egypt. It’s a story about Moses and the exodus of Hebrew people from Egypt. How to Train Your Dragon movies are awesome, too. I dare say they are even better than Kung Fu Panda trilogy.
This was an unexpected surprise for me. By this point I didn't give animated movies like this much thought. But I saw it years after it came out and I really liked it.
I saw this film in theaters and I was completely hooked. I empathized with Po, and I loved his dad. The morals and the story are so good. As a teacher, I especially resonated with the idea that not everyone learns the same way. It is a motto that I have always kept with me. It greatly informs my educational philosophy and I truly believe that everyone can become a master of something as long as they are willing to learn and apply themselves.
LOVED your reaction!! This entire trilogy is so good (especially the second one, its even better than the first) so I can't wait to see your reactions to the rest of it. I also loved that you used the movie screen as your background, rather than just editing yourself in as do all the reactors I've seen before and to me it actually looks cleaner that way. I live near San Francisco. One of our monuments is Coit Tower (which is dedicated to firefighters). It sits atop Telegraph Hill. The easy way to the site is by bus. Directly opposite to the bus stop is the Hard Way. Well, that's what I call them. The Filbert Steps is the official name and I think they're intimidating. Everyone who goes up those stairs are as stunned as Po was looking up those stairs. There is a UA-cam channel called Ipanda. It's the ChengDu panda center in China. One can see lots of baby pandas.
Jackie Chan is a legend! You definitely will enjoy movies from his career. Old stuff from his days in Hong Kong, such as "Police Story" or "Dragons Forever" are great for the classic karate movie genre, while his American made movies like "Rush Hour" and "Rumble in the Bronx" have a more modern appeal.

Love this series, very heartfelt material. Note, there is a new tv series on Netflix this past year. You might want to check that out on your personal time. Some stuff you should keep for yourself.
Want to know something cool I figured out? I know how Po is the Dragon Warrior despite never training, why Oogway picked him over all the other Masters. It has to do with a real-life version of Kung Fu, the Animal Styles. The Furious Five represent the actual animals of most of the Animal Styles of Kung Fu: Tiger, Crane, Snake, Monkey, and Praying Mantis. Those are specific styles that take a specific type of individual to master or even perform to any significant degree. But there is another style...Dragon Style. It's the only style that uses a mash up of the other fighting styles and techniques. Which makes sense since Po would be great for learning that he's been a Kung Fu fan forever studying the fighting styles and practicing them. In fact Po's instinct to use what he calls "Crazy Feet" is likely meant to be based on "the Dragon Step". The Dragon Step is a defining piece of this Martial Art it moves in an unconventional zig zag way sort of like a dance.
