- Originally purchased this 1953 Buick Special to take my grandfather for a drive. It was one of his favorites. On this episode, the Buick will run and drive after sitting for over 30 years. Such a great time taking this lead sled out. It is a beautiful patina car with white wall tires.

My parents had a 1953 Buick Special 4 door, very much like this car. This car looks great.

Gorgeous. My age, exactly...You know, I still don't get the 'patina' thing. I just feel sad when I see a car like this with 'patina'...body looks good...needs a paint-job...even a 'Maaco'!!
