Welcome back from your maternity leave, Uliana! It is wonderful to see you again and this session was perfect- even more clearly explained than usual! Thank you, vielen Dank, merci beaucoup and bedankt! 😊🙏💕
Thank you so much Uliana for another perfect session that meets my needs 🧘🏻♀️. I’m recovering from Covid and this was perfect now I have enough energy to do something gentle and stretch my body, which felt in desperate need for some sort of movement 🙏
Uliana you have so quickly become my favourite yoga instructor! Your flows are so beautiful but you always provide such a variety with each practice! Anytime I feel a certain way, I know I will be able to come here and find a video for what I need. Thank you !! xx
thank you so much for doing these videos. I follow them each day. This was a easy flow that I had no trouble following. I really appreciate your efforts to make us all yogis!
Uliana, I love your videos so much! I just bought your standing yoga series because I often want to just do standing yoga. I try to buy you a few coffees each month because you help me so much. I actually use some of your very short standing videos as brain breaks with my students. They love it!
Thank you for your wonderful company this morning, Uliana; again, was just what i needed. A question about a dilemma that i have for a long while regarding my far from perfect yoga squats: i can either go down with straight back but hills can’t go all way to the ground or have hills touching the ground but then i am squatting quite high, not as low as i wish. Which pose of the two is more useful to stay in? I tend to alternate or choose in the moment but wonder what you think.
great question, I think alternating between these two options is a smart idea! It's hard to give advice without seeing your squat but try to notice where you feel restrictions in the body when you do one of these variations - is it more in the hips, inner thighs and groin, ankles? And which parts of the body you feel working/stretching in each position. You might notice then the variation with heels down vs up brings different sensations into the body, which means they both have benefits)) Also, with heels down, experiment with feet position - heels closer or wider apart, toes pointing more forward or out to the sides - changing the angle of the feet and ankles might help you to keep the heels down when you sit low. Hope this helps!
@@yogawithuliana Thanks; yes, i am sure it is difficult to assess accurately without direct view. What you suggest makes sense and confirms my approach; i’ll keep experimenting. A couple days ago a video popped up as suggestion and it explained how different body structures lead to different positions, mainly feet angle, when squatting.
So much to be said about how much yoga helps our bodies move stuck energy. Thank you 🙏
I took you with me to Planet Fitness this morning. Thanks for a good beginning to my workout. ❤😊
