I have the special edition autographed etched Record and thought I put it in UA-cam and see what they sound like and for something I found I'm my roof it's great
this is the best fuckin damn band ever created in this damn good world created by our LORD...thanks guys for being here with us bringing on heartaches to all those who hated this music.Whatever it takes keep on creating music to keep our hearts and souls alive...GOD BLESS U ALL.
This was a demo version recommend by Joe on all instruments. The b- side version was on a CD single (the best version) the Retroactive version has different drums that I wasn't quite as fond of. But, nevertheless great uptempo track.
This one sounds like the Japanese version recorded 85ish?...From what i understand Joe wrote the song in 1985... It was going to be part of the Hysteria album but was later dropped. The song was covered by Helix (Wild in the street album 1987).. Later released on the adrenalize album (Japanese version) and polished up on the 1993 retro active album. The first recording Joe plays all the instruments/drum machine.
@rickydurham It may look gay for todays standards but this was the way to look back in the day. Boys were wishing they could look as clean as these guys back then.
This ins't the real actual version its a demo genius. Go buy retro active listen to this song and then come back when you have a valid argument. Ok now besides the total disrespect of Def Leppard lets sit back and relax to this amazing song!
Uhm so? I believe the song was suggested to Helix by their record company or a rep. I think... But why bicker over it? I like Helix version better, and you like this one better.... Cool...
BAD ASS ...EPIC DEF LEPPARD
I love this song and i'll always love it !!
Awesome song
I think that was the veyr first song I heard of them.. meanwhile I became a big fan of def Leppard!;D
very catchy! i had been lazy about looking up this song since i hadnt heard it in a while but i did today.
Rick Allen is the greatest drummer (in my opinion) I have seen Def Leppard live and his talent blew me away
I dont think Rick Allen is playing the drums in this song. I believe that Jo Elliot is.
Yes he is a really good drummer
"She's NO angel! OH NO!!!" love it!!!
Yea, he's beast mode!
Exactly
you sir know your stuff
Really good song. I love it. It sounds like its from a different band kinda.
Hmmm really nice song + lovely photo ^^
i'm so vain, DFLRD4LF!
Def Leppard wrote the song in '87 and gave it to helix. If Def Leppard had did it in 87 (when Steve was still alive) it would have been way better.
Joe at his screaming best!

So Jo Elliots playing the drums? Cool
I could be wrong here. But I believe Jo Elliot was on the drums on this track? Am i right or not?
@commandercody1992 You lucky thing.
Does anyone know when they did this exact cover. Would it have been 1983?

Neat to hear the original. I like the Retroactive release better. Better backing/rythm guitars.

My mum told me this song was written about her. I look a bit like the second one from the left only better looking and more muscular...OMG! Daddy?

This song is a million times better with HELIX ....
