  • This video serves two purposes, let us explain.
    The First Purpose for filming this video: We took some fresh rods from Scott, Winston and Sage down to the Gulf Coast flats to cast towards anything that moved. Our main goal was to see which rod(s) were best suited to the varieties of species, flies and different casting scenarios we would be up against. LINKS BELOW TO SHOP!

    What final tippett are you using? I'm planning 12lb flouro in florida with the chance of snook at tarpon

      12-16lbs is great for snook/redfish and smaller inshore fish. For larger off-shore or reef tarpon you might consider a stiffer 18-20lb flouro to encourage landing fish more quickly.
