Tbh has probably been both a mine and smugglers tunnel. But by the coffin shape, I would guess ancient/roman mine. And steps added later, maybe by smugglers.
Oh my day's Jon, you could actually see the imprint of your feet as you went back across lmao. I agree in that it was probably a smuggler's keep and they probably had a couple of boards they put across to roll the barrels over to the other side, so unless you had a handy bridge and knew where to look then the barrel's were safe. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx ❤
Hey Jon, you should think about bringing a metal detector to these places, maybe find yourself some gold and silver coins! Surely some of smugglers dropped something!
Great little explore. Did Street Zips 2 take a left instead of a right? I thought you were going to jump that at one point. You don't know unless you explore. Another great find.
wow is this near Padstow,, I wont say where but I am sure I walked down there to check it out for fishing,,, didn't see that Tunnel entrance as i was further down the rocks
@@StreetZipsSZ yes indeed, spectacular area, I stayed overnight in my camper on the corner of the road above and could have explored there for days but damn those cliffs are high lol
Hi John. Good to see you both on Saturday (by chance) in Padstow and for you to have met my wife Joy too. We actually found this Adit earlier today while out for a short walk. Amazing location. Looking forward to seeing the Nanjizal explore you did. We got that on a short clip on ours #Exploringwithjoy ua-cam.com/video/xHYzFDmpH28/v-deo.html Catch you soon. Cheers. Kevin
I have good memories watching your videos glad your still making content.

I've got a pin-pointer. Maybe a full on metal detector is a good idea.

Ha, yeah I was gonna risk it but the rocks were super slippery.
I'm doing a load more explores this week so hopefully one a week now.
@@StreetZipsSZ looking forward to it.
Thanks for the vid. 👍🏻
Nice🕳️👀
Get a UV light. Cornish uranium deposits... Uranium oxides fluores under UV along with many other minerals.
I've got one, will take it with me for future explores.

It's quite well hidden. I found it by mistake. Makes you wonder what else is hidden out there.
