This will always be my favourite James Bond game without question. That intro song is so iconic. That multiplayer mode still holds up despite the poor AI. Everything was a big improvement over Agent Under Fire. That voice acting is still fantastic. Such a shame Pierce couldn't voice James. Just like Agent Under Fire, this game had a very interesting development and was almost rushed. Hopefully stuff like assets and builds for these classics appear on the internet one day. Fantasic playthrough!

The visuals in this game are impressive for its time. Up there with MGS2 I can say that this is one of the most visually impressive games of its console’s early days.
Custom missions for this would be insane. My step brother and I used to stay up all night and sneak over to my tiny 12 inch tube TV to play this. Good times. We used to hole up in skyrail and wait for all the bots to come and kill us. Some of my best childhood memories are centered around this game. Thanks for the playthrough.

Watching the cutscenes in The Exchange reminded me that this game was originally made for 4:3 aspect ratio. It's interesting to see where the developers put assets and models when they weren't immediately needed for a scene.

I was kind of waiting for Dolphin devs to fix the framerate on EoN and From Russia With Love but they don't seem to address it. They emulate at 30fps instead of the native 60.

I remember loving agent under fire, and being skeptical when I first picked this up at a target back in 2005ish. Fucking loved it and played through it so many times. The few times I brought it to friends house we ended up spending hours in multiplayer. Now just waiting on a copy I bought off ebay to come in the mail to relive some good ol' memories...
It was this game and Agent Under Fire that were my childhood, even on operative, I only beat Nightfire once. That glitched skybox texture in the room on the third level is ingrained in my skull. Watching such a flawless run is amazing, good stuff!

Man I remember my 6th grade year we got what we would consider a lot of snow in Tennessee and had no school for over 2 weeks straight. My neighbors and I would sit and play this for hours on end every day and this just brought back some of my favorite memories. That whole year had some amazing games. This, halo, nhl hitz, mlb slugfest, max payne are just a few quickly coming to mind.
Literally all I would do on snow days (at least ones where there wasn’t enough to have a solid outside snow day) here in NC. And yup, with my neighbor across the street. We’ll still randomly text ab this game...I found this YT vid today and immediately sent it to him.
The two things that brought me the most nostalgia was the sniper reload animation and the sound of the phoenix samurai firing. Great play through you definitely know your way around this game. I loved playing multiplayer against the AI when I was 7. Of course I always played odd job.
I just noticed at 4:53 they paid homage to the mistake in Diamonds Are Forever when the Mustang drives through the alleyway on one set of wheels and appears on the opposite set on the other - they did the same thing in this cutscene. Brilliant.

This game was one of my go to games as a kid. The multi-player you could fill out with bots, and the campaign had choices on how to do the missions to break up the repetitiveness.

@@BigScewleo Probably another developer and or engine. It's the same with Need For Speed :Hot Pursuit 2 which is way better on ps2 compared to pc and xbox as it was developed by another studio. PC will always be the best version otherwise.
Never forget my mum picking me up from Sunday school, she told me she had a surprise, it was this game, and at home a brand new PS2. Spent so many happy hours replaying the levels, having friends over messing around on multiplayer add oddjob or with the guided missiles. Good times, happy times.
This game was a greatly underappreciated masterpiece. I played through the campaign like 50 times, and spent an insane amount of time playing local multiplayer with friends.
What I loved about this game is how there were multiple ways to tackle each situation, and the game didn't tell you about any of them. For example, in that first snowy level (The Exchange), you could take that side-route OR sneak in via the van OR fight your way in - all perfectly valid strategies.

@@alexgeorge501 I don't think I'll do Rogue Agent any time soon as the playthrough I did is recent and already 1440p 60FPS. Everything or Nothing runs at 30fps instead of 60fps on Dolphin so I hope they address that, as for TimeSplitters I have plans of doing an individual playthrough of 2 soon. :)
The devs of the Hitman games are working on a new Bond game. It's gonna take about 3 years before it releases, but it's called project 007. That title is temporary, untill the have a proper title.
I still wish they would remaster the bond games I would play these games nonstop as a kid and they were my childhood. And I can’t wait to see no time to die.

The bots in perfect dark were insane fun as well. They even had personalities like: bodyguard or Vengeful.

the exchange was my favorite mission in the game. I just loved the fact that you could go around the castle using your grapple.

I still wish they would remaster the bond games I would play these games nonstop as a kid and they were my childhood. And I can’t wait to see no time to die.
