Unlocking the Mystery: Finding Your Cabinet Door Overlay
Can you share the link of this clamp? Where I can buy this from?
The Yakuza hate this invention.
I installed these exact ones on my cabinets and had a few of them pull out and messed up the cabinetry,
Lmao The Handel was crooked…. Dude delete this video
😢Sakin nalang
Great work, best explanation I have seen,
does the blum tandem drilling template work with these?
It should, most all hole patterns are similar for BLum, Salice and Grass
the f70 is the same as the progressa?
They are identical just designed for when the extra heavy duty of the F70 is not needed and are at a great price. They use the same locking device as the F70 as well. www.woodworkerexpress.com/progressa-smove-15-full-extension-face-frame-undermount-drawer-slide-salice-g5u6s381xxf6.html
Amazing.
ROFL< Its wonky, I already know how to do that!
Perfect accurate and clear explanation
Thanks for the helpful video! BTW, I tried to find banding rolls on the website you point to, but it was very confusing-all it wanted to show me were veneer sheets of some kind. 🤷♂️
You are not supposed wear gloves while using saw stop, if any one is wondering as it works based on conductivity.
I have a question. My original kitchen cabinets - made from laminate covered chipboard - used these hinges. The sink unit got damaged, so I made a replacement out of 18mm ply. Do I use the same type of screw (I have the old fittings) to attach the hinge to the cabinet?
Saan k maka order ng double action door ang size ay 1.9x2.35? Pls reply po
Gosh, this helped a ton. All of the documentation on the RevAShelf website is for poly shelves, not wood. Helpful to see the brackets get screwed to the shelves ahead of time. Makes sense, but it's not what my directions say.
hi, how are you? I was making the holes (35 mm) for a 3 hinges cabinet door with a gap of 4 mm and i made a mistake in top hole (8 mm gap distance) how can i fix it? greetings
Hi. Thanks for the helpful video. I have another type of hinge on my bottom cabinets in my kitchen. Much bigger than the ones you have. Mine are eight years old. Do you have a video for those? Thank you
Does the hinge have any numbers or letters on it in order to help identify it?
I'm probably not jumping back on the saw in 5 minutes if I just narrowly avoided unintended amputation....
Create tips! Thank you!
Would you please help me, I have a sideboard that I've put together but on one of the doors the hinge is too tight and the door keeps springing open instead of staying closed like the other doors, I've done everything exactly the same but this last door won't close. I've adjusted the screws several times tighter or looser but nothing is working. Thank you very much for your video. xx
Thank you!
But when I tight first small before final the final one losen
Why are hinges described with degrees? Like 110 degree hinge...
That is the opening degree. It tells you how far the door swings open. So a 110 degree hinge will open to 110 degrees.
I livein a studio this. Is amazing to save space
Those drawer handles look super wonky!😅
Which ones?
Put flat elastic bands either end of your level , will not move while you draw the line . Thanks for the informative video.
Thats a great tip! Thank you
You are very welcome , all the best.
This was the only video that articulated how a straight arm hinged works
Do you have a link to your ball bearing drawer slide with soft close?
www.woodworkerexpress.com/22-side-mount-100lb-drawer-slide-full-extension-zinc-we-preferred-0684075165961-10-0684075165961-10.html
My God…once he tries to “explain” the three overlays it became nuclear war Armageddon by using “18mm” 917,313 times….do not watch this video if you are trying to learn about what hinges to use 🤣😂😂🤣
I follow your instructions and the measure was 33 inches. I ordered a 32 inches and it does not fit at all. So the way you show how to measure is not right or not clear.
I believe you are suppose to subtract 2" then order the next size available below that measurement
Excellent method. Very easy and accurate. Thank you.
Question about what hinges to buy: We added shaker style trim to all our flat kitchen cabinets (50 years old with face frames and old fashioned hinges). Now that the cabinet fronts are deeper (due to the trim depth), the cabinet doors at the corners of the kitchen hit each other when opened so that each door can only open about 60 or 70 degrees. Is there a hinge type that would allow the door to move inwards a tiny bit when opening so that it won't hit the adjacent door?
Big thank you. I followed the extremely brief instructions that came with the sliders and it came out wrong. I started from scratch with your video and was able to get it right.
Great to hear!
Missing some key steps and tips there bud
Can you please do a tutorial about the front walking thing because I cannot figure them out for the life
ua-cam.com/video/b5Xsi-XvaIY/v-deo.html
Great video. God bless!
Thank you! You too!
You think if I put a laser line on it it would be more straighter🤔
Mine didn't work correctly. I no longer have any legs. The End.
Dam 250 bucks for this thing 😮
Then subtract the smaller from the larger number, and that is your overlay.
Awesome
Never before have I been so throughly entertained while watching a furniture building tutorial. Thanks for the laughs. Stay happy and playful, friend!
Thank You! I've been searching for a solution since hammering in the dowels breaks the melamine and sometimes the crack extends to the hinge hole compromising the solidity which is the whole purpose of using dowels.
2:55 If those hinges are for face frame installation, what is the unused screw hole for? And, what happens if the door is opened beyond the opening angle say, if someone bumps the door while its open? Seems that unsupported hinge would just split the frame and yank out the screws... I watched all the videos in this playlist but, must have missed where you discuss opening angles and the reason there are different angles, and what for.. What is the standard opening angle? Why are most hinge angles 110 degrees or less, when a door that doesn't open all the way is prone to being pushed beyond that angle, potentially damaging the frame?
At 4:22 is the base plate supposed to hang off the frame? It appears to be a frameless base plate which is meant to be flush with the side of the cabinet yet, the manufacturer just doesn't care things being pulled out of the cabinet might get hung up on the hinge?... Doesn't seem to be purpose built, just "whatever"?
I am trying to undo the bracket, i tried pushing up from under the bracket - but was not able to remove it. is there something else I can do? thank you
Nano tech 😮😂
I am more confused now than i was before I gave this video a chance hoping you would teach something before the end, you sound like my algebra teacher who flunked more people than all other teachers in the school combined lmao , we want to see hands-on while your talking math if we wanted this info we can read it.
I’m curious: how did you keep the wiring inside the cabinet out of the way?
