Great settings, thanks. Using them on a 6700(non-XT) and 5600X and perfect so far. My settings had worse image quality and a few sharp frame rate drops here and there. With your settings the drops are gone.
Thank you this was a big help. More so the trial and constant to ensure the differences. Idk but 4x is where mine likes to be 8x bogs it and looks real bad down the horizon . Other than that everything good showing all around. I do have a 3080ti so idk why it doesn’t like 8xaa but w,e!
@@sunny113866 fair, i gotta be honest, i think i may return the quest3 and buy 2 more monitors with the money instead.. im a week in and the immersion is great dont get me wrong but im a big visual guy (play 4k and 2k and crank everything i can always) I dont know if im missing a beat but i spent all day on my day off loading in, and out trying different things... it looks OK. just OK and down road (where im looking) is like 720p haha sooo i think all the capture footage ive seen (including my own looks better captured then it does live, again idk why) but im torn right now, have a couple weeks left on return date. i might be sending it back and use those funds to finally go new triples (plus a bigger spend of course). SHINE SOME LIGHT ON ME haha im torn whether to keep it or not or just buy another one down the road (or quest 4 updated or sumn with AC2!). i believe AC1 will still be the move for a couple years.
Hello I’ve been experiencing black corner or long loadin time wen I load into a solo. I haven’t tried your settings I will once I’m back from vacation but everytime I’m in its black corner if I look left or right
i bought the oculus quest 2, and its been a nightmare, image sucks a few meters i cant see shit, i quit trying to use vr and thought on selling them i dont have any use for them, im going to try this settings and i hope its going to be better, i really wanted to have a great experience, and not having to buy another monitor. thanks for the video.
Try these settings but if it still don’t work then you need to upgrade your pc it’s not the quest 2 mine works perfect since I upgraded my gpu to a 6700 xt

@@clipsfdrive amd fidelity fx custom 35% sharpening ;) when you can reach 2 or 4k res make it magic cause in ableling it you get fps like from 25 to 35% so then you can make it like more higher stats by abit ;) like sslr to hi z ;)
Unfortunately I don't run the rain effect with my settings as fps drop too drastically in AC, unlike AMS2 which works great in rain. I would suggest dropping all anti aliasing settings to minimum or race with less cars on track.

Keep anti-aliasing and lighting settings low and have only 9-10 cars on track only. This will help framerate. Lighting is one of the biggest frametrate killers in most games.
@@sunny113866 what about the fps ? Is there a difference ? Did you try to slightly reduce your fov in the quest2 ? I have exact same hardware as your, but with this method i can push the pixel density at 1.4 and get a solid 90 fps. You will not even notice the difference in your fov since the most peripheral side of the displays aren’t visible.
Rain will drop your fps. The only option is to lower any super sampling and anti aliasing settings or reduce the amount of cars you're racing against, hopefully that may help. Rain any dynamic change of weather can drop fps in certain areas.
@@sunny113866 to play with rain and traffic i uncheck gpu buffer and it's done for me. i don't know if it work with all config, i play on an i9 12900kf 32go ddr5 and 2060 rtx

Put FXAA back on and enable graphics adjustments with amd fidelity it will boost your fps

When I try the settings my content manager gives me a thousand errors and it's not loading up the track

@@sunny113866 put it at 0,8 for each vertical and horizontal side…you will see a huge bup in performance ;)

I tried but left it at standard settings. Couldn't see much difference when playing with high bitrate settings to be fair. (Playing with link cable)
