Like current Hulk is fighting literal eldritch monsters and Gods; Beings that The One Above All did not create, and Hulk has become TOAA's embodiment of wrath/rage.
And Thor has become way stronger than even Odin.

thor was stronger in a knock down fight, but if vegita wasnt so up his own about prooving himself he could have ended this, and any, fight with a single word at this point.
they note thor has blocked erasure before, but every time he has, he knew it was coming, if veggie just started with the hakai thor would have no time to prepare for it.

Thor can perceive time down to the Plank Instance. A single second to Vegeta would equal 70,000,000,000,000,000 seconds to Thor, which comes out to 16 Billion Calendar years. Vegeta's Hakai attack doesn't come out fast enough to catch Thor off guard.

Thor resisting those attacks are a result of his durability, that's not something he can change at will. He doesn't need to prepare for them. If he can tank those attacks when he's prepared, he can also tank them when unprepared.
