I just got a ST3 and honestly don't know what's going on here. Whats a ghost cam? I though it was an issue or problem with the car. Is there any benefits?
To be completely honest it’s totally useless. Some people enjoy it because it sounds like a car with a large amount of cam overlap giving you a “cam lope” sound. The tune essentially just introduces cam overlap in the idle area to achieve the sound.
+DavisDFPV Hopefully my version of the pops and crackles will be released as an option fairly soon. Then you could choose the option and ask for ghost cams as well.
I'm not sure who really offers it these days, it's honestly difficult to dial in correctly and if you have an upgraded RMM or even just the stock one it feels very shaky/jarring to sit and idle in traffic etc.. This was just more of a test for myself than anything.
+Roosevelt and the focus Basically lmao, it's just valve overlap. You can make it sound more like an aggressive cam where it will barely idle and whatnot but it feels awful while idling.

We actually already offer it, you just have to mention it on the tuning form. Sort of a hidden option.
