Just made this, it's fantastic! I used regular bacon, canned cannellini beans, canned whole tomatoes, and canned stock. I forgot to buy cabbage, but just added extra Kale. Thanks for another great recipe!

Earlier I lived near a lane lined with Italian gardens. How wonderfully they grew and you couldn't walk down the lane without someone offering you a bunch of greens, a few tomatoes, some carrots or fennel, brilliant colored peppers and such. And the smells coming out of the houses. If you were lucky they would invite you in for a bowl of soup or spaghetti. I can still see the beautiful veg plants and flowers. They sure made beautiful gardens.

My wife and I have been watching you Chef Pasquale for a long time until my kids told me that you passed away since 2005. I was very upset and saddened by it, my daughter told me a couple of month ago that it was another chef Pasquale with the same name and God rest his soul. You cook from the heart, a great sense of humor. I also had the same treatment when I was 7 years old by getting down on my knees for one hour but with large sharp sea salt and getting up with the help of two fellow classmates.
This mans video's & voice just put me at peace, not to mention the great recipes. I made soup Toscana earlier but next time I think I'll do this rendition 🥰😋

We were visiting my mother-in-law in Georgia. MIL and I stayed up watching a few of your videos. We decided to make this one the very next day. My husband said this was the best meal on our entire trip there, including nice meals from upscale restaurants. Then 2 days later we made your potato leek soup. And then 2 days later we made your chicken vesuvio. All were fantastic!!! Thank you for sharing your recipes. We will be your forever loyal fans from now on.

Sauteed Onions and Garlic by themselves or with a little tomato sauce are delicious meal with toasted italian garlic bread... OMG fingerlicking good... i could eat an entire bag of garlic and onions all in one sitting all by myself😋😋😋
