I would love to see a plant stuff clean-out video! You should take us along for your plant decluttering -it would definitely help motivate me to declutter as well 😅
I watch you, especially for the creative way you take of your plants! Building the plant wall and the greenhouse and having a relax way of taking your plants is what keeps me coming back. Thanks for your hard work.
Honestly I could listen to you talk about anything so I love the vloggy-type of “spend a day with me and hear my thoughts” especially when it’s just random things you’re doing. I’d appreciate that content even when you have kids/move/have general life changes. (I’m a stay at home mom so the chatty videos/pod are appreciated cuz I feel like you/guys are actually my friends and I’m not alone 😅
plant chores get me pumped like it starts with pulling a few dead leaves then I’m watering dusting re arranging i get on a roll n sweep my floors and do laundry and wash windows. I Love that starts with something so small will the give me the energy and accomplishment to clean my house
When it comes to what I love love love to watch from you, it's all things cactus. It set you apart for me from other plantubers so quickly. Having said that, I understand there's not a video every week you can make about cacti. I know you are getting into pottery, and I feel like your aesthetic is very artistic based. Videos that showed why you chose a pot for a plant would be super interesting to me, and videos where you MADE the pot or if you painted the pot for a specific plant would be my jam. ... but anything cacti? Yeah. I'm here for it.
I personally will watch anything you put out haha, plants have become a form of therapy for me so I personally love doing all the plant tasks and watching planty videos while I’m doing it
becca makes me feel the confidence, inspiration, excitement, and contentness that no other plant youtuber makes me feel. i’m so grateful for this channel and all the things you do ♥️
I love organization and vlog style videos and I hope you post a lot about your new garden space this year. I think it would be cool to get pics of subscribers plant collection/styling and you comment on those.
Good food for thought in this video. Thank you. Any time we tidy up and or deciliter we always feel better about our environment. I love plants but I don’t want my home to look like a plant Hoarder’s intervention gone awry.😵💫. Some people may say it’s too late, I’m already there! 🤣. I get a lot of peace and joy from my plants. The better they are organized and the better they look helps to keep me in my happy place. Good luck to us all in 2023! I’m all about the learning so anything subject that is even remotely related to plants is great with me. 👌🪴🥰
Acrylic drawer organizer containers SAVED my makeup and skin care drawers. They sell sets on Amazon with different size containers that all kind of Tetris together and I can't express enough how much better it feels to have the drawers organized with them
I have been experimenting with buying plants I know nothing about in the clearance section and rehabbing them back into health then propagating them to make their pots full. This way I get more experiences with learning of different species and I'm not throwing away a lot of money if they don't make it. It's my take a chance on saving a life plant project ICU.
I am so glad you ask. I feel like I’m at a place with my collection where I don’t need to see more hauls and tours. I love to see plant people talking to other plant people. I’m really hoping this is the year of the collab. I also think this might help both creators grow their communities. I’m always looking for new creators to follow and I’ve discovered a lot of them through collaborations with my faves. I’m sure this could be mutually beneficial.
Hey Becca! Love your channel & love your content! Glad you’re feeling revived & renewed. 💚 I have several video ideas! - Could you do a video on pest management/ prevention? More specifically, what YOU do in your home w/ your plants & growing conditions? - I always love your chatty re-pots - I really enjoy videos like “water with me” or “plant to-do’s” - How you manage a large collection and/ or a run-down of your personal weekly plant care routine would be amazing! I’m sure you’ve already done all of these, but I personally always enjoy updated versions of plant care vids. Thanks for being such an inspiration! Here’s to a plantacular 2023! 🪴
I found I invested my all in propping my baby hoya's for 2 years to fill in their pots so they'd look like a actual plant. Then they all were vining and I had no idea they dropped sticky sap. Then I had to rearrange them or find things below to catch the sap. Ugh I love hoya and yet get annoyed by hoya mess. If you are considering hoya for your wall keep in mind of whats below them or if you want the messy times of them.
Hi Becca- I love plants a lot, but for your UA-cam, I also love your vlogs- I know your other channel isn’t as big as your plant one, but if you are feeling stuck on plant content I’d love to see more vlogs and sewing and craft content!! Not saying that you have to do that if it doesn’t feel right, but I want you to know there is an audience for that along with plants!!! So excited either way for new content from you, I hope this year is rewarding for you!
Maybe you can do a plant swap like a car boot sale in your garden in spring. Then you can also swap vegetable plants you have excess of after sowing. Maybe do it with some neighbors and people can go from garden to garden
Happy youtube-versary! I've definitely enjoyed watching your channel. You've had such a wide variety of subjects I could never get bored. Here's to another great year!
I like the repotting videos. Plant chores. Styling. Experiment/prop videos sound cool. Oh and the educational ones i.e. easy for beginners, buy these big, etc.
Your videos really are a joy and inspiration to watch! I enjoy seeing plant goals and progress videos--documenting how well or not well plants have done over time. Plant chore videos can also be interesting just to see the different ways people handle watering, repotting, fertilizing, treating pests. Organization of plant stuff and your plant care routine would be great to see.
Happy UA-cam anniversary! I started watching your videos in 2020 sometime. I think the first one I saw was your planty thrift flip video collab that you did with Harli G, but I also went back and binge watched all or most of your earlier videos. Anyway, thank you and keep up the good work!
my city has a tool library which has everything from bike station, those giant power tools, kitchen gadgets to event items and single use items like caulk, paint, etc
I would love to see like you going through your props and like from start to finish. Or like a 6 month check in. Maybe like a genus specific check in every 6 months or every year would be fun.
Hey Becca, this may sound weird but when I see a new video up I get excited about it. You make it that way, I have watched for a long time. Like when Daniel carried you over the threshold of the house when you arrive that night. lol I'll be here watching the greenhouse, the vegetable garden and flower planting. I don't sew much but I even watched you make a bunch of clothes. It's all great videos. Keep up the good work.
I know what you mean about having fun with your plant projects. I was so bummed out when last summer ended that I decided to plant some indoor seedlings (I chose hoya and succulents) and to grow them over the winter. It has been SO FUN and such a boost of sunshine this winter!
I'd love updates on your systems for life. I want to do that too. For me: 2 baskets at the top and bottom of my house stairs to put things in that need to go up/down, extra makeup brushes so I don't have to worry about washing them/waiting for them to dry right away, chairs EVERYWHERE so i can sit down during tasks (disabled, standing is difficult).
I love these systems!! Gives me some good ideas😄 It's definitely something I'm going to be sharing on my vlog channel - filming it will make me actually do it lolol
My fave style of videos are vlogs. I think mainly for a lot of us who are more experienced plant parents that the teaching type videos are not as desirable. BUT I totally get for the newbies they'd be more drawn to those types. I'll watch whatever you put out lol and I know my comment did absolutely nothing to help you lol
I totally get what you're saying about holding onto things "just in case" and I would also like to improve on that in all aspects of my life. I have really enjoyed your recent videos even if you felt like you were in a slump. I love watching propagation videos, so I'm excited for your spider plant experiment. Maybe something on plant displays would be fun?
Thanks Becca for being so upfront with plant care burn out. I had so many plants last year I almost started hating them, none of them looked exceptionally beautiful. I have fewer this winter, through neglect and the ones I do have I’m in love with. Much easier to take care of and you can give them the attention they sometimes need and not feel like why, why bother. Thanks again Becca! ❄️💚🙃
I totally get the “holding on just in case”, but recently another teacher at my school decided to “donate” a bunch of stuff from her mom who passed away. Whoa. Her mom held onto fabric and craft items for decades and it was jaw-dropping that her family dropped off 2 truck loads of stuff to my classroom. I couldn’t use all that in MY life lol! They had way way more and I had to tell them thanks but no thanks on more, but it reminded me that I don’t want that for my home or myself. Too many things stresses me out.
I just wanted to say I love your videos. ❤ I know the greenhouse videos don’t get as much love but I still really love them and all the outdoor content in general. Both of your channels are my go to for UA-cam content. I really enjoy the vlogs and day-in-the-life videos. I also enjoy watching you experiment with cuttings so I’m excited to hear more of those are coming. It might sound strange but even the videos where you are just cleaning are great because they motivate me too. ❤
I would love to see each step in your decluttering journey! Like a hannah louise poston but make it becca style video. Even how you’re feeling along the way and how you get there ❤
@@BeccaDeLaPlants she did a massive declutter of her makeup this past December and I just love her outlook on how she treats her possessions like little treasures. I also loved the organising your crafts video so much!
Hi Becca, I'm excited to see you so excited about what's to come on your channel for 2023!! I would love to see you try different substrates with some of your propagations!! I grow mainly in LECA in self watering, but also in Sphagnum moss and my own potting mix!! Love, Love, Love your channel!!
Hi Becca, I have recently gotten into plants and am enjoying them so much. I really like Hoya and want to read about them and their care and varieties and I want a book! But I can’t find anything! Any ideas about that? And you mentioned treating your Hoya for mites regularly. How do you do that? I love your plant room. It is so nice and light. My plant room is my dining room, the only room with good light. Thank you.😊
To be honest, if you organized a plant swap in Missouri, I would probably make the trip from Ohio, because my grandparents live in MO and I’ve been meaning to visit them and do a whole thing in that area!
Why don't you make a self watering green wall... Like a aquarium on the ground, you add some fish (for the fish waste) and let the water run down the "wall" and water it with a pump + timer 2 times a day for 5 - 10 minutes... It worked for me for 2 years, (video on my yt) but my house was not build for the moist that couldn't get away... But in my new house I can make better airflow
Love the request of what we would like to see: Sponsors at end or beginning of video only, I hate mid video interruptions. I love longer videos (doesn’t have to be anything more than plant upkeep) because I can be productive while watching or I can take a nap watching.
I get that, but I don’t think that she really has a choice in where she places ad reads, because that’s something that the sponsor gets to negotiate (they often seem to require that it’s in the middle of the video to make sure people see it). If I’m not interested, I just skip 😅
