I watched several ads, and though they sounded pretty social justice, I figured the website would be the hook. Scoured their site but couldn't find one call to repentance, or any gospel message. It was just a bunch more social justice sounding mesages where they'd use a scripture address. They didn't even print out the scripture, just an address.

I wouldn't have a problem w/ the "he gets me" slogan. There's nothing wrong w/ it in itself. The messages are all very social justice though. That might be ok, if there was a substantial gospel message w/a call to repentance on their website. There is none of that. Just more social justice messages, w/ the continuing affirmation that Jesus gets us just the way we are. This counter message of Satan gets us is pretty much the same, only more honest.
Well, he's always "HAD" you. The gospel is that He has SAVED you. But, yes, He's GOT you. And, actually, yes, He GETS you. (It this whole thing worth all this mental energy?)
Those statements mean two different things. Jesus does indeed get you as well.

How do we follow the Word of Truth that God sent as a man? We walk in God's Ways. We call the 7th day Sabbath a delight. We keep the Sabbath that he has made for a sign (mark) between him and us. And we stop eating the food that is sacrificed to idols, swine, which is the abomination of desolation. In Daniel 7:25, the person that comes to change the times ((Appointed Times of God) and the law (God's instructions or Torah) is the antichrist. History repeats itself and so will 2 Maccabees 6-7 and 4 Maccabees 5-18.

Funny how this parody actually speaks the truth lol. while the Superbowl commercial was absolute garbage and meant to mislead people.
The Super Bowl ad may not have been PERFECT but it had a fairly decent chance of getting people into church ESPECIALLY people who felt like there couldn’t go or maybe were previously shunned. But with all this hateful back lash a section of the Christian community has successfully reaffirmed that they are an exclusive club and if you have visible flaws then GTFO. The message of forgiveness and a chance for an improved life is not coming from the online Christian community right now and they are the same ones who clutch their pearls when church attendance predictably plummets

The women in my Bible Study group had a whole different take on it. We recognized right away that no where in that message did they stress the fact that you need to turn from sin and give yourself to Christ. It’s sad because this could really be misleading to the unsaved.
