In good-quality fish restaurants, they often provide plastic gloves to allow you to peel and eat the fish with your hands instead of using a spoon or fork. This approach is much easier and more convenient, making the dining experience better.
I just didn't know I was supposed to eat with my hands, but enough people have commented informing me of that, so now I know. I don't need gloves though, I can do it with my bare hands 😄
Ah, yeah maybe some day I will go back to Port Said and film. I've been there once (but I didn't film) and didn't really have a good time...but some things went wrong on that trip. I would like to give it another chance sometime in the future.

Tilapia is very delicious, but you are missing a lot of Egyptian Mediterranean sea food. I suggest for you to try "Mullet fish", it is called in Arabic "Boory بوري" it shouldn't be smaller than 600 gm to be delicious and you may try it cooked opened from the back and it is called "SinGary cooking style" and usually served with onion rice "sayedaya rice" and green salad and tahini ...Also there is fried "Morgan fish" it is very delicious and also Tajin mix sea food "shrimps + squids" with red sauce and a lot more..These are not very expensive it is what the local usually eat beside tilapia. by the way , the old man who raises the call of prayer is so loud and ugly voice :D no offence I am Muslim...Great adventure Gigi; good luck always

I wish my beloved late mother were still around so that she could have seen this video. She used to love Samak Bolty Mashwey. I would take her to a Turkish Restaurant here in Toronto that made the fish the way she liked it. You are wise to be concerned about accidentally ingesting fish bones when eating fresh fish. I remember as a young lad carelessly taking a big peace of fish and getting a bone stuck in my throat. I was on a milk diet for a week until the bone broke away. To this day-over 60 years later-I will not eat fresh fish. My beloved late mother on the other hand had no issues. Even when she was in the nursing home and in cognitive decline, she would eat the fresh fish I would bring her from the Turkish restaurant. I guess you can take the Egyptian out of Egypt but you can’t get Egypt out of the Egyptian.
Yeah I always order boltee, it's delicious. But it turns out (as a multitude of Egyptians have been commenting to inform me), boltee is a freshwater fish! So...I should have ordered something else here along the sea 🤣 Oh well, now I know 😅

@ Salt water fish and fresh water fish are really tasty in Egypt . My suggestion if you are going to eat tilapia, sea pass or seaprum fish is to chose a size between medium and small it will be really tasty and you can eat with fork and knife no problem at all but as i said earlier you have to eat the back of the fish not the stomach part wishing you a great stay in Egypt and always welcome

@@Gventures Its okey to eat both sides but some like me eat only the back and the meat before the tail because the stomach part has alot of bones which make it alittle bit inconvenient for fork and Knife technique and also if you are going to eat the stomach part ask the chef to clean the belly and put inside the belly of the fish some salad and lemon slide will make it more appetizing to eat

The only thing that I can think of is maybe "censorship" that I said take off the head of the fish and just split it in 2, makes life more simpler and cleaner in seeing the bones, plus you can eat the skin, it's really good as well. Big chunks of meat and a lot less bones to deal with. If the bones are larger they are also easier to deal with.

My suggestion if you are going to eat tilapia, sea pass or seaprum fish is to chose a size between medium and small it will be really tasty and you can eat with fork and knife no problem at all but as i said earlier you have to eat the back of the fish not the stomach part wishing you a great stay in Egypt and always welcome

@@Gventures Its okey to eat both sides but some like me eat only the back and the meat before the tail because the stomach part has alot of bones which make it alittle bit inconvenient for fork and Knife technique and also if you are going to eat the stomach part ask the chef to clean the belly and put inside the belly of the fish some salad and lemon slide will make it more appetizing to eat

@@Gventures nop, didn't swear. Only shared the way I eat fish and some tips as I eat it once a week since a little kid. The only thing that I can think of is maybe "censorship" that I said take off the head of the fish and just split it in 2, makes life more simpler and cleaner in seeing the bones, plus you can eat the skin, it's really good as well. UA-cam full of snowfleak rules and censorship.

As I read your comment @Canadanorth963, I was thinking "they're just kids," just as @mohamedkhairy3410 remarked. Kids will be kids, they were just excited to see someone with a camera. Although I do like to consider myself tolerant and patient, I don't think this situation is the best example of my attempts to be that way. Anyone would have reacted the same way with kids.
😂😂 you don't order nile fish in Mediterranean sea town. You're funny! By the way, Tilapia is the most unhealthy fish to eat. It has no omega 3 and high omega 6 and this is very unhealthy combination.
