    I wanna go to Egpyt to hangout with friends in Alexandria. However, I'm trying to convince my parents by showing them this vid. Was hoping to go summer 2025 but my parents were like no, your staying here and doing internship. They also think Egy isn't safe because of the current situation in the neighboring countries. As a matter of fact, I learned Egy dialect just by playing videogames and watching UA-cam all day

      I hope you can make it to Egypt sometime then. I don't anything about you - your gender, your age, etc. But I think Egypt is a very safe country, actually. I've made many videos about that topic though. 2 about the war (those are old though - I made them last year). The newest video is about general safety, if you haven't seen that, here it is:

    It's great to see you've come this far, amazing work Gigi 👏, what i really like about ur videos is that : its random, pure and true, showing all sides of the daily life of local Egyptian ppl as its ..... nothing planned nothing prepared ,,, just showing the good and the bad side as its in every day life ,,,, the thing im pretty sure about is that "Egypt is not for beginners"... but gal u r a pro ..!! 😉if u see the videos of Foreigners who choose to come to Egypt and visiting the Touristic places and try the local food ..... they all got scammed on camera so easily 🤫and few who succeeded to show the real life and diversity in this country ..... keep going tho, u are doing a very good work 👍,,, as Egyptian i really must salute your effort , it has been a true life adventure so far 💪Waiting to see and know more about Siwa by UR camera 🙏

    Most of the population are Bedouin, they have roots from lybia,Morocco etc
    You saw dates everywhere that is because Egypt is the first country of producing it,
    The fruit you asked about it called colocynth uneatable and they use it as a treatment,
    P.s please wash fruit before eat it
    Special dates they add some powder to keep it fresh,
    Love your video
    And love you ❤

      😂Marsa Matrouh, the North Coast and Hurghada are for the rich only. Umm Gamasa and some areas in Alexandria, Ras El Bar and Damietta Beach are for the poor and middle class. 😂

    • @Gventures
      @Gventures  2 дні тому +1

      @Kareem-c3s Marsa Matruh is just far away, it's not "only for the rich." There are definitely affordable places to stay in Marsa Matruh and it is not filled with fancy villas and compounds like the North Coast or Alamein.

    That was fantastic, thank you!! Yup, it's grown to be a proper city with honking traffic and winkers and everything. My goodness. Good call on the married and living in Cairo thing. Smart. Anyway, absolutely amazing to see Chinese in Marsa Matruh without a lick of English. But it made perfect sense. A what a cheerful outgoing personality huh? Oh, camera... let's get in there!! LOL. LOL. The fresh dates are so sweet but so very starchy. One is about enough. LOL. And yes, you're right the yellow ones are better. I think a little softer too; just slightly. But I think there are recipes for them. I think. The people from Marsa Matruh really are different from Cairo / Alexandria I've noticed. And that too, makes sense. The city hasn't lost complete touch with being a village rather than a big city but it's getting there. Safe travels. ⛵

    • @Gventures
      @Gventures  2 дні тому +1

      With the honkers and winkers and everything 🤣 Lol yeah that Chinese guy had me laughing too, he was READY for that camera 😆 I wish I knew what he said. Next time I have a class with a Chinese student I think I am going to ask them to translate that for me 😅 You're right about this city having village vibes. I really love it! It's cool to have all this activity yet have that element of still feeling like you're pretty far out there, it's remote but still happening. Very nice people, little busy on the main street but not too much, and otherwise pretty chill...yeah, I like Marsa Matruh ❤️

    It looks like a quieter, laid back, less traffic version of Alexandria and of course it's got the amazing stretch of sandy beach area to hang out on and appreciate it's nature. Next time I am in Alexandria I will take the GoBus equivalent to stay a few days. I too gave my takeaway food from the restaurants most days to give to the kids and elderly people asking. I once bought a load of bakery products (bread and sweets) to give to mother and her kids. If I can, I will.

      I think everyone is misunderstanding the original commenter, they are not saying Egyptian women are not beautiful, they are simply stating that these boys are ACTING like they have never seen a beautiful woman. It is a phrase we use in English to describe "thirsty" men, and has nothing to do with whether I am beautiful or not or whether Egyptian women are beautiful not (of course they are). Like I literally said in the video, I am getting stared at because of
      1) my hair. I'm not only not wearing a hijab, but have crazy bright red hair.
      2) my motorcycle.
      Not many women ride motorcycles in Egypt, so it's rather rare to see. I live in the capital, Cairo, and rarely see women riding motorcycles. Sometimes scooters, but even that is not often. You see it even less once you leave the capital.
      3) my camera. I'm filming. That always draws attention.
