Metropolitan has brake problems and a vague shiter

We do an overview of brake problems on a Metropolitan and what we ended up replacing to fix it, as well as making big improvements on a sloppy shifter with a couple of very simple fixes

This is the year of the Metropolitan. I've seen more this year than any year before. There were three side by side at a car show in Canandaigua, NY a few weeks ago. Such a neat little beast.

Both the Nash Metropolitan & the Kaiser Henry J were discontinued by the time I began to love cars. One could still buy a King kit car in the late mid 50's, but it wasn't the ssme.
