  • The plaintiff's son parked his car in front of the defendant's house. The defendant wrongfully towed the vehicle, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant insists he had every right to tow the car because it blocked his driveway.

    Defendant says they’re constantly parking in that spot. Plaintiff then says “that’s the first I’ve heard of it”, after admitting to the judge he himself parked the Mustang there after the truck was towed! Perjure yourself much.😂😂🤡

    I somewhat question the plaintiff's story that the car wouldn't start. It sounds like a made up excuse if this has been a problem before.

    A car that won’t start can still be moved. If you have the key you can put it in neutral

    I feel bad for the defendant, imagine having a neighbor who constantly blocks small portions of your driveway, and are inconsiderate of you? Then not only are they not sorry, they sue you in court when you reach your breaking point and finally have the vehicle towed. Teaching our kids that the law doesn't apply to them is bad business. The law isn't grey, it's black and white, and it exists because of people like this.

    The plaintiff's son could have put the vehicle in neutral & pushed it farther in out of the way of the neighbor's driveway.

    I had a tree fall on my pickup truck, found out it was a city tree .
    They gave me $5 grand to do the repairs no questions asked!
    They cut the tree down the next week.

    He or his son, blocked the neighbour's drive way and then he thinks the neighbour should refund him the cost of the tow. ha ha ha. If the plaintiff's son had really tried to re-start up the car to move it out of the way, and he claims it wouldn't start, he could have still pushed it out of the way, so his story that it broke down sounds like an excuse that he thinks will get him out of this tow fee. The plaintiff and his son are so entitled that they just don't understand when they are being obnoxious...

    And most mobile home communities that absolutely is the residence right to call a tow company. I had to do that one time when a gold truck was parked in one of my spots. The tow almost happened but as the truck was about to be loaded the owner in And zoomed away

    Clearly retaliation. And the plaintiff is clearly not very bright. His whole case hinged on his idea that the owner of the property can't call for a tow on a vehicle blocking his own driveway! Purity silly.

    Kids playing in the street can often be tough for some people, especially when the kids aren't being respectful. When I was a kid I often got told off by one of my neighbours. We would kick a football in the street and often hit the power line to his house which would affect his tv. For context, Australian Rules Football we hold the ball in our hands and kick it and the idea is to mark(catch) the ball. So we were outside practising our kicking and marking.

    This case reads like a classic neighborhood feud, played out in the courtroom without missing a beat. The defendant's palpable agitation towards the plaintiff is unmistakable, especially when he recounts the repeated instances of parking halfway in front of his driveway. It's as if he's seething with frustration, unable to contain his disdain. What's truly intriguing is the tendency for both sides, whether plaintiff or defendant, to resort to legal action despite being clearly in the wrong. It's a peculiar dance of seeking justice while avoiding accountability for their own actions. Particularly striking are the plaintiffs who, despite their wrongdoing, try to shift blame onto others and demand compensation for their losses. They grasp at any justification, no matter how unrelated to the incident, hoping it will bolster their case.
    Moreover, the plaintiff didn't hesitate to lay blame on his son for parking the car in a way that blocked half the driveway and then claimed the car wouldn't start, all in an attempt to absolve himself of his own wrongdoing. It's a classic example of evading responsibility, perfectly fitting the pattern of nobody willing to step up and take accountability.

    After hearing both sides I can actually see it from both sides but I'd never have my very own neighbors vehicle towed until I exhausted all costs to rectify the situation. I don't want to have any issues with neighbors because after all that's where I live.

    • @adrianknight1406
      @adrianknight1406 17 днів тому

      Very true but even then I'm still not completely sure that I would have their vehicle towed. I'm really trying to avoid any smoke with neighbors if I can possibly help it. Towing someone's vehicle would be a last ditch effort because I'm not trying to inconvenience anyone even at my own expense at times.

      @@adrianknight1406 Of course, it would be a last resort, but seeing how he parked his own car and admitted to parking that way in the past, I think the defendant had finally had enough. I have elderly neighbours opposite me and their children often park in a way that makes it a little hard to get out of my drive, but they are parked legally. Sure it can be a little inconvenient on bin day because I need to do a 3 point turn to get out, but I just suck it up. As you said, it is better to try to get on with your neighbours and I know that if I asked they would stop parking there.
