- I was called to diagnose a low power situation. After quickly testing battery voltage and alternator charge, I realized the problem was not voltage related but actually a problem with Idle and the MAF/Air Filter.

Hey so for us, after cleaning that MAF sensor (they sell a spray that won’t damage the sensor but also make sure it is unplugged when doing so) and replaced the air filter. No more problems after that. Luckily ours was easy.
Unfortunately the car ran out of oil and blew the motor so that is next on our agenda with this car

I have a battery newly replaced less than two months ago o my 06 tC. had a engine light pop on, fixed my P0171 code for that. Then did a re-read had no codes found. decided to take it up to auto zone to use their obd2 reader (to be safe) Came back code c1241 for low battery voltage. Told them my battery was new. They checked it said it was good. To Replace the MAF ( I just replaced engine air filter ) No weird noises, no idle issues I did how ever let me car sit a lot the last few months with the same gas in it for over a month, in Ca heat... no sure if that would cause issues?? any advice!? PLEASE!

Is it fast with a turbo? I have an 06 I am customizing. Trying to figure out if turbo is better than a SC. I don't like the idea of the SC running when I don't want the extra power. Also I recently put detroit axle coil overs on mine and I love them. Had seen alot of folks on forums not knowing the best ones. Any tc owners needing struts/shock towers go with detroit axle coilovers, ya won't be sorry.
