You needed to have included the intro for the full effect.
Mick Mars is my hero! Motley was my first rock concert back in 1985 and Mick is the reason I'm still playing today. I don't play like him and have never aspired to. It's his tone. I would recognize his playing anywhere. When he plays on someone else's record, which is rare, but it happens, I recognize it immediately. His sound hasn't changed all that much over the years but his sound on the first record, 'Too Fast For Love' is the gold standard of guitar tone for me and it's what I always strive for in my tone.
You have come this far, you MUST react to 2 songs off their first record, 'Live Wire' and 'Too Fast For Love'!!!!!!
Their first two albums Too Fast For Love and Shout At The Devil are masterpieces. The other albums are okay, but those first two are their heaviest and on a whole nuther level.
My most favorite Mötley Crüe song: Live Wire, it was their first big song and its what started their whole career. Love your reactions btw, its great seeing someone actually enjoying this type of music lately🤘
I don't care if it's 2022, 23, 24 or what. I will, and always play motley crue songs LOUD and PROUD! And I'm 29 lol
That dooom....doooom... sound you hear bro is a bass guitar slide with the heavy toms of the drums😁
These guys were the epitome and the height of what it means to be rockstars. All the crazy tour stories you've ever heard these guys did it. So you probably heard of them just based on that. And the zhoom sound at the beginning was a combination of the bass kick drum and the bass guitar :)
I'm sorry for the second comment. Watching your commentary? That's so cool to see you appreciate how good this was. Awesome bro awesome
These spacing and pauses are so on point here, it is used to build tension and grab you in
I literally just watched a film about them :p mad timing
I've been listening to this song since the 80s, and it was interesting to hear your analysis of the lyrics and music using spacing...thanks!
Ahh, some Motley Crue on the plate for today. If were to recommend stuff from their catalog for you I'd pick these: Too Fast For Love, Live Wire, Too Young to Fall in Love, Girls Girls Girls, Dr. Feelgood, Kickstart My Heart, Home Sweet Home, Piece of Your Action, Looks that Kill, Same Ol Situation, Ride With the Devil, Crash and Burn, Like a Virgin ( hey, I liked their cover of that Madonna tune), Keep Your Eye on the Money, On With the Show, and Public Enemy #1. If you have Netflix, I'd also recommend watching The Dirt--its a bio pic about the band by the band.
you have to watch the movie, The Dirt, its on netflix, a movie about motley crue
The one you definitely know is Smoking in the Boys Room. Probably heard others though. The bad boys of the time.
Damn you know you’re stuff, you deserve hella subscribers 😂
Honest to God I'm an old man now at 48 years old. I really remember the actual newscast that came out. And they interviewed Motley, and they said it was Shout at the Devil not with the Devil. That was crazy lol I might have been 12. By 14 years old? I got my first tattoo, with Indian ink and a sewing needle oh, and it was a Motley Crew tat LOL. Yes music influences people. I ended up getting a bachelor's degree and being a social worker for many years. But yes I absolutely love this band, always will
I see Motley Crue and I click, you should do there song Wild Side, Primal Scream, Dr Feel Good and Home Sweet Home!
Their best album in my opinion.
I think that guitar swell you’re talking about is the bass. Also Shout at the Devil means shouting at something negative. Nikki Sixx, the bassist, used devil imagery to get a rise out of everyone good & bad. But he actually was doing dark magic off of the satanic books he had. Idk if they’re real tho. Its in their book The Dirt
Horns up for Motley Lou! 🤘
I love love that you have no idea who a hair metal band that sold over 100 millions records is!!! And I am not being sarcastic. So much music out there to discover.
No mames love that song.
Do Dimash please
WILDSIDE is their best song bro..NO CAP
Factual
Please do Dimash SOS
You missed the intro before the song.
Has nothing to do with the Devil. They’re shouting at not for. The Devil is people telling you can’t do this or that.
Try hammer 🔨 down the nails
All respect to Motley Crue, but I feel like bikers would be listening to Amon Amarth.
okay, i really really need you to go react to how bad Vince Neal sounds now. its hilariously bad
David Lee Roth may be worse.... And I think he has lost his mind, too !
Thanks for uploading! If you have a second, we recorded a cover of Eddie Van Halen. As fellow music fans, we'd love if you would take a listen. It's on our channel. Don't be too tough on us :)
