    Awesome build! My baffled how the wing supports are mixed between ones with holes/space to save weight and a couple that are completely solid. Are there ways to calculate the load those supports have to hold and how many supports you can get away with punching holes in? or was that more of an educated guess? Thank you for not putting loud, annoying music in the video lol, I was convinced my sound was muted.

    Very nice plane ! I build large scale rc planes for outdoors, I had never even seen or heard of this kind of ultra light rc plane. Do you use a sound system for engine sounds and how many rpm is the engine spinning. I saw a different video of it flying before watching the build video.

    • @GJuergen2009
      @GJuergen2009  6 років тому

      Thank you very much! No i haven't a soundsystem. The enginesound come from the speakers.. i think i can fly with 400rpm but if i would i could 1600rpm at full throttle.

    Fantastic job. I am curious what drove the decision to use a 4 blade prop rather than the traditional three. Can you explain possible design differences or challenges involved? Does it change the flight characteristics or speed?

    • @GJuergen2009

    • @jonathanstreech2267

      Excellent. I guess I just wasn't aware of that. Plus looking at the prop on the plans at the beginning showed the 4 blade over what appeared to be a 3 blade. Thanks for the reply. Is this plane to light relative to its size to fly outside in anything other than dead calm?
