I've had problems with acid reflux. I now have COPD. My doc says I have Emphysema, chronic bronchitis, and asthma. I don't eat after 5 pm and stay away from certain foods.
I'm gonna say, I can truly appreciate what you're doing. I used to work on a lot of different machinery and now I can't change my oil. But, I'm fighting this disease. I exercise when I don't feel up to it and my body seems to respond.
I admire you for putting together this beautiful bird. The Corsair, P51, and P40 are my favorite Warbirds. Each of them are special in their own right.
I needed a little uplift tonight. Thank you!

Acid Reflux/GERDs.I had it a ten yrs ago was on a med for it. However I lost weight and it went away. Why? I found out our belly fat literally will pysically push our stomach upwards and in so doing raises the stomach contents to the valve/esophagus and cause havoc. Also found out as we age our stomach acid actually weakens so food takes much longer to digest and get out of our stomach which also causes havoc. So I lost weight and then also started tacking a digestive aid+ ox bile (can get from any healthfood store or amazon etc...) prior to every meal... problem went completely away now for 10yrs. Might want to give it a try/or do a bit of research, it's inexpensive.

You caught me by surprise when you started the engine. I thought you were just going to sit in the cockpit. Then you had me on the edge of my seat when you raised the tail. I can't tell you how many times I nosed over with my taildragger RC models trying to do that. Wow, what a sweet airplane.

I can't applaud your craftsmanship enough. I knew Carl back when he still owned W.A.R and met a gentleman through him who has a partially built Corsair and P-51. Seeing these latest updates has gotten me excited again about building my own and I just talked to that gentleman this weekend about that P-51 again. He still has it and hopefully I'll be able to get it from him. Thank you for documenting this so well and keeping that dream alive!

At any rate, I totally understand your little health issue, I have suffered from the same thing for a very long time and I was on the Omeprezole for a few years. I stopped recently and I’ve actually been able to manage my reflux without meds!

My Dad was an engineer at Chance Vought Aircraft in Stratford, CT during WWII, and helped in the design of the Corsair. Great to see this beautiful replica !

What a beauty. I've loved this plane since I was a little boy. Everything about it is art in motion and this is one gorgeous replica. What an impressive undertaking.

As someone who has tried their hand at building my own RC planes this is the most insane thing I have ever seen. I stumbled across your channel by chance in my feed and this is truly amazing.

Howdy! One of them "algorithm" viewers from your last video. Super impressive build and it is beautiful! You can clearly see the love you have for this and I didnt know it actually starts, great surprise! Keep it up and wish for a beautiful successful maiden flight.

Wow! You have major skills! That is so impressive! I think you should have added more room for yourself and storage (that's what pods are for!) Did you add mounting brackets for pods? Also, you should wear wing socks to protect the wings. It's just fiberglass near the cockpit? You may also want to tie the tail down for engin runs. I worked on the U-2 for 17 years overseas (I was a defense contractor camera guy). So sad, only around 4 Corsairs are left and only one is flyable. I'm subbing! Take care of your acid reflux and it's too bad you had to explain it to people. The content speaks for itself!

This is the single coolest video I've seen today. What an amazing idea and you built it into reality. I honestly was wondering if it was RC until you walked towards it. Neato burrito.

You explained the old acid reflux perfectly. That very description started with me in my early thirtys.
    Love the corsair!
