Thanks, Mascha. Seeing all these decks compared makes me wonder, what was happening in the 19th and 20th Century to Marseilles? So much about decks from the 17th and 18th centuries but I haven't seen so much of the bridge to more contemporary versions of Marseilles. Are there a few later versions you like?
Beautiful!…I just started dipping my toes into the world of TdM, and what’s such an added extra dose of fun is laying them out/looking them up and spotting the unique (and even at times subtle) differences between each deck. I’m so happy to have found your channel, I adore your videos! Beautifully done 💜
Aww, thank you, Nikkie! Your kind words mean a lot and I’m so happy to hear you are enjoying my videos! 🥰🙏🏼💛 TdM is so great and so fun! And you probably already noticed I get much joy out of geeking out on Marseille through placing decks side by side, doing my historic dives and continuing my studies in reading TdM. I’m very curious - have you found a few TdM decks that most appeal to you? 🧐😊
Oh! I'm so excited about getting my Sullivan Chosson! This was great, Mascha. I don't have the Heri so it is nice to see it here with the others. Geeks for sure!
I have read somewhere that the Conver was put together from various decks. That's why it has so many different initials on the cards. So the conver was most likely assembled from various Tarot wood blocks.
LOL Robin, I can see what you’re saying..😊 Yes, I can tell these tarots apart without much effort actually... but then I’m aware I’m a little obsessed about my historic marseille tarot decks.. 🥰
amazing, love these side by side comparisons ❤️ thank you so much!
I’m so glad to hear that, Alexandra! 🙏🏼♥️
I too love looking at historic tarots sure by side! 😊

Oh, you ordered Sullivan’s Chosson? It really is superb!
Thank you for geeking out on Marseille with me yet again, dear Anne! 🙏🏼♥️

I can't tell them all apart. I wonder if you shuffled them all together, if you'd be able to separate each one out into its own deck.
