C-Webb was so gracious about the whole Kings-Lakers controversy here. Much respect.
Only cause Fisher was there
He respects kobe and shaq, he hated the refs not the players
@@kristianpomida8259that fking ref was the dude who literally fixed games just to help himself and his friend win some money. Out of all ref they decided to pick to control that game 6, they picked that man😭kings would have won man
Man I hate to see C Webb in this because it’s like talking about the most painful moment in his life.
Bummer those Kings teams never got a ring.
Kyle Chermak it’s unfortunate but the Lakers had the best 2 players on the court. The Mavericks teams should of been thrown into the mix
@@jasonsmith1288 Yeah Dirk never got the respect he deserved.
Best European player of all time if you ask me.
@@kylechermak7092 the Mavericks actually went to a finals. The Kings and the Suns didn't
@@jasonsmith1288 also true. You can argue the kings faced (and competed better against) tougher competition but still, no finals appearances.
@@jasonsmith1288 yeah..they had...but Kings were intentionally robbed by referees and denied finals by NBA leadership....Kings were better than LAL
Hahah Kenny be the guy to initiate the fight, hype it up, then just sit back and watch, smiling
C-Webb was one bad man, in terms of all-around numbers kept in stride with TD and KG before his body broke down
100% agree. Going into the decade Webber was right there with KG as best PF not named Duncan; though I think they weren't too far away. Sadly injuries did him in and the best PFs of the decade came down to TD, KG and Dirk; all of whom are amazing players, with championships and MVP trophies. But people forget that 2000-2002 C Webb was stride for stride with those Titans.
@@jona.scholt4362 Exactly people forget that CWebb's Kings were making deeper runs in the playoffs than KG and Tim's teams hell even pushed the Lakers harder during that stretch. CWebb deserves a whole lot more credit
He didn’t want the ball at the end of the game, that Michigan timeout haunted him his whole career
He never recovered when he tear his mcl or acl idk but it's knees during 2003 Dallas playoffs.
Agreed. I'm glad he's in the Hall too. He deserves it.
The hell is Greg Anthony on. He kept going back to the 90s when they were already in the 2000s plus he kept interrupting and disrespecting CWebb. And I mean, c'mon. Those Pacers and Knicks teams were no match against the Kings. They are IMO, the best team to not win a championship. Those dudes were owning Shaq and Kobe until the refs showed up and I'm a Lakers fan.
So Patrick Ewing's Knicks wouldn't kick C-Webbs ass??? Is that what you saying
If you watch the full segment they keep jumping around decades and it's honestly hard to follow. GA was just making a point about the 1990s Pacers when the conversation switched to the 2000s and he didn't notice, or just kept trying to finish his point. It wasn't as weird in the full show is my point.
In the 1990s segment Greg Anthony was trying to point out that he thought that the 1990s Indiana Pacers were one of the best teams to never win a championship in the 1990s. When he mentioned this he immediately got cut off by Ernie Johnson by Ernie saying we’re going to get to that when we move onto the 2000s. Greg Anthony wasn’t talking about the 2000s version of the Pacers, he was talking about the 1990s version. That’s why Greg Anthony got so frustrated in the 2000 segment because he was still trying to make the point that all along. He was talking about the 1990s version of the Pacers not the 2000s version that they thought he was talking about.
The 1994 Knicks would’ve made easy work out of the 2002 Kings.
Ernie invited to the cookout whenever. There will never be another ernie
Dumb
“Coming up next on my show”🤣
The cameraman who slowly zoomed in on an increasingly-desperate Greg Anthony at the 4:00 minute mark deserves an Emmy. That's the greatest on-the-fly directing decision in history.
Like bro…Greg only started more than 50% of his teams games when he was taken in the 1995 expansion draft by the Vancouver Grizzlies…he was the 4th best backcourt player on the 1993-94 East Champs Knicks. C-Webb was the leader of the Bullets and Kings and both of those teams would have beaten the Knicks post Webber’s rookie season
@@mikeyoungblood1642you smoking meth. The 94 Knicks would smash any version of the Bullets/Wizards from 1980 to now
The 2000 Portland Trailblazers: Scottie Pippen, Damon Stoudamire, Steve Smith, Arvydas Sabonis, Brian Grant, Bonzi Wells, Greg Anthony, Stacey Augmon, Rasheed Wallace, Jermaine O'neal, Detlef Schrempf, &, more.
They were deep but after GM7 lost vs Lakers was their best chance to win it after that got swept in the 1st ever year after that
THEY WAS A SQAUD!!!!
That team was better talent wise than the 2000 Lakers. They were lacking a clutch player or go to guy. I mean you could say Rasheed, but Sheed never really wanted to be a leader.
That 2000 Blazers team was the deepest and weirdest team in basketball
That team was soooooo deep that it's crazy
Was loaded as hell
C-Webb's Kings. OKC with 3 future MVP's. T-Mac & Yao's injury-prone Rockets. D'Antoni's Suns. Pacers "Malice in the Palace" team.
04 suns
OKC was not a 2000s thing
@@mr.g937 what do u mean it wasn't? Were their stars drafted & played in the 1990's?? They entered the league 07, 08 and 09. smh
@@ponypower8 that OKC team had their first season above .500 (50-32) in the final year of that decade... no doubt they had insane young talent but they were by no means a contender in the 2000s and certainly not one of the best teams of the decade to not win a title
@@ponypower8 2000s is the decade from 2000-09. OKC went to the finals in 2012.
The sad part is that the 2003 Kings team was better than 2002. Webbers knee blew out in game 1 vs the Mavs in the Semi-finals which cost the series.
Yep they were Sacto even still took the Mavs to seven.
Really cost his career
Hope you’ve been good these past 3 years brother haha
The 2005 Indiana Pacers: Reggie Miller, Austin Croshere, Stephen Jackson, Ron Artest, Johnathan Bender, Al Harrington, Jamal Tinsley, Jermaine O'neal.
Those 2003 - “Malice at the Palace” Pacers were probably their most complete team and had a shot in 2005 until the cup of death was thrown at Artest.
The 2002 Sacramento Kings: Mike Bibby, Doug Christie, Chris Webber, Peja Stoyakovich, Vlade Divac, Bobby Jackson, Lawrence Thunderburke, Hedo Turkaglo, Scott Pollard, &, more
Yep. They got robbed.
Honorable mention to the 2003-2004 Timberwolves
03-04 Pacers as well.
The 2000 Pacers were the best scoring team in the NBA with an offensive rating of 108 and took the Shaq and Kobe Lakers to 6 games and won game 5 by 33 points. That team was very good. I wouldn't call them all-time like the 02 Kings but they getting too disrespected on this episode
No, it was five games
@@raianalam4201 6.
@@giordanogentile1331 are you saying Kobe is 6
@@raianalam4201 4-2 bruh Google it
I agree with you and also the 98 pacers took mj to game 7
It's wild that NBA TV still aired this after Kenny mentioned crooked refs lmaooo
Reggie’s best team of all time is the 2005 Indians Pacers. Reggie Miller, Ron Artest, Jermaine O’Neal, Jamaal Tinsley, Stephen Jackson, Fred Jones, Danny Granger, Scott Pollard.
They was deep
Fred Jones lol slam dunk icon
And then Detroit fucked it all up
I agree and I can say could won it ALL
That team could've been a real problem if Reggie wasn't 39 years old...
The best team to not win a championship would have to be the Sacramento Kings
I love Derek Fisher wants to hide the fact they are supposed to lose that game 6.
2000 blazers, 2002 kings
LAL 😎 3peat
@@PalmdalesAdonis you mean you like a cheating ass referring bum team.
3:27 Kenny with that instigator look.
Kings and the Jailblazers are the best 2000s teams
No mention of the trail blazers?
The 02 kings outplayed the Lakers and still lost the series. I was in high school at the time and I loved the Kings. It was the hardest thing to watch in sports that I've experienced.
The refs gave us that series bro
Straight up
Indiana Pacers, Philadelphia 76ers, Sacramento Kings, Portland Trailblazers
Miss that era where everyone gave it their all
that snake knows that the refs cheated for those slackers!
Fisher trying to act like they wasn't
Great show
2000 portland team was pretty good
Kevin McHale says sometimes you have to get down, dirty, and grimey. He's having flashbacks of that clothesline on Kurt Rambis. On another note, let's not forget about how nice that 99-00 Trailblazers squad was nice. If they could have held on to a 15 point 4th quarter lead they would have been in the finals.
1. Kings
2. Suns
3. Blazers
4. Pacers
If they didn't have a bad ref in 2002 Sacramento would've won the Western conference finals
David Stern wasn’t a ref
C-Web eviscerated Anthony here.
Anthony was delusional on basically everything he's ever said on open court
No mention of early to mid 2000s NJ Nets?
That Nets team never had a chance going up against the Lakers and Spurs, when the Nets went to the finals in 02 and 03 the Eastern conference was weak.
Not only that but they made it to 2 straight Finals and were going to multiple Eastern conference finals appearances
Eastern conference were never the favored to win during that period. That was where the balance starts to shift for the league.
The Western Conference Finals were like the Finals back then. That's why they keep saying, if the Kings beat the Lakers in 02, they could just award the championship right there and then. The Nets were like a cooldown session.
Kings should've gotten one ring for sure.
They would’ve in 2003 had they beaten Dallas cause they would’ve beat San Antonio in the WCF
Steve Smith's early 00s blazers
This whole thing was supposed to be about 2000's teams, then they spent it debating about whether to include 90's teams......
Because the teams they're talking about are the early 2000. And how do we judge if a team is worthy of winning ? To look at the record of their core group.
They were talking sbout how reggie was deserving of a title because of what he went through in the 90s. His point was : how is he deserving when we beat his ass in the 90s also ?
I get his point but he wouldnt say that if he said like.. the 09 magic.
The 09 magic is so far removed from the 03-04 magic that even talking about the 90s magic wouldnt have made sense
But 2000 pacers are real close to the 95 pacers
ah Ernie the Honorary Black guy.
The king's and the Blazers nuff said.
3:27 Kenny’s face kills me every time after instigating that
Those mid 90s Later jerseys with the yellow and white on the lower right of the jersey are some of my favorite all time NBA uniforms. They are timeless. I wish they would bring those back. And for the record I am a Pistons fan, so I have no real love for a division rival. But I always respected Reggie and loved those unis.
Those 00’s Kings were the best “What-if” Dynasty in the NBA
Reggie will always be one my favourite players because I feel for him. He never had a great all-star playing with him in the 90s and he was too early for his playing style. I really do believe if Reggie was born later and played the last 15 years he would probably still be the all-time 3 point leader.
The early 2000's Nets teams need more love
the kings are the best not to win ever
not only their dominance and balance, but they actually didn't collapse after horry's comeback game, won the next game, and fought until the end of game seven
unlike the Jazz with Malone or Sonics with Payton, the kings had no playoff chokers
Blazers with Rasheed Wallace, Sabonis, Pippen, Steve Smith, Schremp, Bryan Grant, Damon Stoudamire, Bonzi wells, etc. Hands down.
McHale like the godfather.
He talks everyone shuts up and listens
Derek Fisher is bullshitting, how the fuck one game doesnt effect the series when they are 3-2 up
He couldn't even say that convincingly.... He knows was complete bullshit
Now we can do the 2010's. I'm thinking
1) Thunder
2) Rockets
3) Pacers? (Celtics maybe but they were too old early part of the decade with the KG teams and too young with the more recent rendition)
Thunder and Rockets for sure, Raptors would have been a great argument hadn't they actually won one. And on the lower sides you indeed have the Pacers, Blazers, Grizzlies maybe. But nobody thought they would actually win it all. I'll throw the early Bulls up for a debate
@@threaruscamuwundra7417 if Rose stayed healthy after the 2011 season, the Bulls probably supplant the Pacers on my list.
Clippers if they only made it past the semis.
Thunder is definitely No. 1 especially that 2016 team. That Westy-KD duo almost singlehandedly broke the warriors down into pieces
Pacers definitely they was amazing and pushed those heat teams to the max
Tnt needs to go back to this.
This one is good!
2005 Suns definitely would have won if not for the Joe Johnson injury.
Or that 07 Suns if Diaw and STAT hadn't gotten suspended
@@christiankarlkarganilla2763 That was fucking bullshit. I think the Suns are taking it this year, and if they do, it'll be a shame that David Stern won't be alive to watch them take it!
@@AntiMTVMovement I think the Bucks will take it but even if the Suns win, I won't mind. It's a redemption for them and CP3 as well. Honestly, I'm pumped for this years finals. No LeBron or Golden State in sight.
@@christiankarlkarganilla2763 I'm picking the Suns in six. Either, I don't think it'll be a short series.
@@AntiMTVMovement yessir Suns r finally gonna win, if Giannis doesn’t come back they’ll win no prob
What`s up with Anthony?! He yells everytime C wants to say something. It pisses me off!
2000 Blazers .
I say 2000 Portland, 2002 and 2003 Sacramento, 2005-07 Suns and 2009 Orlando magic....That 2007 GSW team was underrated too
I say the 2001-02 KINGS. They were so good, NBA had to rig the WCF just to keep them out of the Finals that season-lol. As a Laker fan, that was the one championship I wanted ZERO part of 😠! Honorable mentions to the Jason Kidd-led Nets and the 2005-06 Mavericks (that team got hosed by NBA meddling, too).
As someone who rooted for the Kings that year, I appreciate that you said that. Mike Bibby was my favorite player and that team style of play was the blueprint in which the Warriors upgraded to.
That Pacer team that got into the fight in the stands was loaded.
yeah the 05 pacers def could of won it
We feel Derek F. awkward about 02' against the Kings and the shameful game 6 against the Lakers (and the refs)
Game 5. Webber did an illegal screen & took out Fisher. Then Bibby hit the game winner. No one ever talks about that
Indiana went to 6 games with the Lakers. They could've beat the Kings! Cwebb crazy.
He'll no 😂 the Kings we're far better
01 Sixers, 02 Kings,03 Nets, 07 Suns, 09 Magic.
Refs absolutely robbed the Kings in that series against the Lakers. Any neutral fan would agree with that.
'02 Kings were robbed in the 4th quarter of game 6 of the WCF... biggest travest in sports HISTORY! They woulda murked the Nets in the Finals, just like the Lakers did. #robbed and I'll NEVER forget that shit or let it be forgotten
what happened in game 7 though?
@@cesarrincon2967 they were Mentally beaten that will happen when the referee's are favoring your opponents.
But let ask y’all this I understand about the crooked ref..but let’s keep it in perspective they still had to go back to Sacramento home court advantage,GM7 and what happen..Kobe playing the whole 4quarter and OT with 5 fouls,Shaq missing the game winner in the regulation and they still could beat the Lakers..that’s just fact
The Lakers shot 27 free throws in the 4th quarter of game 6. That has to be an NBA record.
The kings should of been in the finals
A.I’s Sixers team is the best team without a championship. They were the only team to win a game against the Lakers. That team beats any Pacer or Kings team.
Damn, C. Webb was borderline finna cry and i dont blame him, he knew they shouldve won that year
Man we all know this and Fisher trying to say one game don't dictate a series.......MAN of course it does when literally their close out game was completely rigged then game 7 they go into series in disbelief if how bad was cheated
Kenny Smith always the one running his mouth lol. He must remember his playing career differently to everybody else.
Kenny stirred the pot expertly (watch his villainous enjoyment just before C Webb checks GA)
2000s laker was a beast. Next contender, are kings and san antonio. By mid 2000s, the phoenix took over
Kenny talking trash like he was a HOF’er
"Lunch meat!"
Man I gotta use that..Webber also said what happened when Bulls took away Jordan....Oh wait Houston still won
It be nice if they stop talking over each other and let someone finish a point
The Kings were great no doubt- but the pacers were underrated and played hard nosed ball. They played twice that season and split the series- so it wouldn’t have been a cakewalk for either team.
The way Ernie transitioned that at the end is why he’s the goat😂
What about the Nets? They went to two finals.
what about the 2010's now that we are in a new decade now? I would say for the 2010's it would be OKC. #2 would be between the Bulls and the pacers with paul george and roy hibbert
Why are they talking about the Pacers in 2000s. Ernie says " they went to the finals so that make them the best and the most talented Pacer team" nooo way, the best Pacers team was in the 90s when Reggie was at his peak.
In 00s we have Phoenix, Sacramento, Cleveland, Dallas, New Jersey, Houston, Portland, Indiana ( in late 00s with J. O'Neal)
Pacers 2000 vs Kings 2002
Smits > Divac
Webber > D Davis (was an all star that year)
Rose > Doug Christie
Miller > Peja
Bibby > Jackson
Pacers bench far and away superior A Davis Croshire Best Perkins Mullin McKey Al Harrington vs Turkalo Pollard B Jackson. Indiana was the better team. The Kings were fun to watch, but Indiana was the better team.
Lebron Curry and KD would never but name 3 players that would
As a laker fan that kings team probably should have won
The Kings aren't just the best 2000s team without a title. They're the best team I've seen without a title. So, since the 1900s.
C Webb Ethered Anthony
04 Pacers
They forgot about the Dallas Mavs of the early and mid 2000s
2008-09 Cleveland Cavaliers. Would have beaten the Lakers
I know it's the decade. But that 04 lakers team might have been the BEST TEAM ON PAPER to never win a championship. Gary Payton, Kobe, Devon George, Karl Malone, and Shaq. Derek Fisher, Rick Fox coming off the bench? On paper that wins everyday!
Yes that 04 Lakers team would have been on top of the league in today's game
Sacramento and phoenix
Easily the best two teams without a title in 2000s are the Mavericks and the Suns. Both the 2005-2008 Suns and Mavs would have beaten the Kings in my opinion. Without the suspensions/injuries the Suns were going to win in 07. And the Mavs were a perennial 60+ win team that made the finals and lost with questionable officiating.
'he won 6' just in the back ground while they tryna box
The Sacramento Queens still bitter but I understand.
Lots of of jocks shouting and interupting each other. I have noticed that when Isiah Thomas speaks, they shut up and listen.
Suns team with Joe Johnson Q Richardson!!!!!!
It annoys me that Webber is bad mouthing those Pacers teams. His Kings made it to one conference finals and never made it to the finals. The Pacers made it to 6 conference finals and once went to the NBA finals. They pushed the Jordan Bulls to 7 games. Reggie Miller made the most of his talent. Webber may have been the most talented guy in the entire league. If he had half of Miller's killer instinct, they might have won some championships themselves.
Did C-Webb call Robert Horry a hall of famer?
Phil Jackson
He was probably referring to Mitch Richmond, who was past his prime at that time, but still.
Big shot Bob made the sealing the deal shots tho, so yeah, he was clutch as hell
what about allen iverson 76ers????????
They took the Lakers to 6 games the sixers and the nets got crushed in the finals
LMAO LUNCHMEAT HAHA. I'll have to watch more videos cuz I forgot many of it cuz im getting old, for me, on the east that ive seen less of, d rose bulls has to be up there, dwight on magic, pacers(one of the first finals i watched live) , and lebron in his young years were fun. the west, stacked, kings c webb n crew, rockets yao and grady, kg wolves, nash suns , baron davis on warriors. and so much more, i wish I could watch it all in order every minute somewhere. Me personally, im on a mcgrady trip and I feel like he needed a ring to solidify his life's career. Yao kept getting injured which lead to early retirement, That rockets crew to me was beaten by kobe. im not a rockets fan, but I enjoyed how they were built at that time.
1:Sacramento Kings
The answer is the Nets. Hands down the best team that never won in the 2000s.
That’s Nets team tho. I remember in middle school I had a kidd and Martin jersey. I need a vintage Keith Van horn jersey
Suns between 2005 and 2010
All I hear is sour grapes 😂😂😂
