Yes, you can open the app and go to any time and day on the SD card from anywhere that your phone has an Internet connection. That's included for free as long as you have the SD card installed and setup.
Hi! I am considering buying one for my girlfriend. I am considering having her subscribe to the cloud storage, so that she also gets the desktop viewing capacity provided. With this premise, is the micro-sd card still necessary?
With the cloud, you would not need the SD card but it would not be a bad idea because if your wifi/Internet was down the camera would be able to record events and footage to the SD Card. You can get a small SD Card for like $5. So I would recommend it but it would not be necessary with the cloud services.
Mine is USB-C so they must have changed that. Does it charge or does it require being connected? Also I missed what you said about outside. I think you said it required something to be used outside?
For outside they say you need the "Wyze Outdoor Power Cable" to use it outside. Its some kind of weatherproof style power cable. As for USB C... are you sure yours is USBC?
