I was 12 in 2004, and in August of that year, my family and I were taking a road trip all around the US! It was so much fun. My favorite place that we went was Colorado, where we saw the Rocky Mountains and stayed at a fancy hotel in downtown Denver. Sucks that im young and never really experienced the 2000's. I was born in 2004 and only remember Probably 07-09
I was born in 95 the earliest year I remember would be 1999 for my 4th birthday party, I vaguely remember 9/11 too from being pulled out of 1st grade then going home and seeing my parents watching the tv and crying
Nice, I had just turned 7 at this time
What a coincidence, this video came up in my recommendations today, July 23, 2023, 19 years after this video was recorded
I remember summer of 04 I was 10 getting prepared to head into my last year of elementary school ( 5th grade). Now I’m 28. Time flies
One thing that 2004 will remind me of : Indian Ocean Tsunami
Looks like my childhood. Thanks for upload!
I was 12 in 2004, and in August of that year, my family and I were taking a road trip all around the US! It was so much fun. My favorite place that we went was Colorado, where we saw the Rocky Mountains and stayed at a fancy hotel in downtown Denver. Then not long after we got back home, I started 7th grade which was one of the most fun school years of my life. I'd give anything to go back to 2004! I really can't accept the fact that it was 18 years ago this year 😭
Please upload some videos it's been 9 years
I feel ya
That modified civic fly by at 9:30 though :) in the prime of the tuner era too. As a huge tuner geek I just had to mention it lol.
Aftermath of the Fast and the Furious
@@ChristianVBlue3 Pretty much. Lots of people were inspired by those early fast and furious movies
Wow, first part of the video was 2 days before I was born, crazy how time flies.
I really enjoy your videos dude, thanks for content you bring.
I was 18 years old in 2004. It was also a great time for certain video games for me as well as social life too.
Damn time fly by fast!!! I’m 18 now and I was born 2004
@@JayWCleaning Just 18 years old and I was also born in 2004
@Americana Psycho You are very young still.

@OfficialDSGDoloyou'll be 40 in no time..I'm 38 and Just yesterday I was 18..time flies SUPER FAST 😭
Are those the mobile homes by pepper in rialto? Man I miss being a teenager in 2004 it's like I'm in a time machine wish I recorded every step of my life now.
2004 was the best year of my life
It’s so weird to know I was born 3 months before this video, I feel SO young but at the same time SO old.
Why do you feel old?
@@tedmcfly9483 cause he can
@@tedmcfly9483👏👏👏👏👏
Not really. Lol.
I don't care about what anyone says but the early to mid 2000s were just as good as the 80s, and 90s. They had a special charm to it, and despite 9/11 it wasn't too bad of a decade.
*Better
I was a teenager during this time…I remember all of this..
How old were you
So cool to see the girls playing Bust A Move on the Sega Saturn! I had recently gotten into collecting old games for my Sega Saturn around this same time. Some of those games were dirt cheap back then. . .today they are worth lots of money! Speaking of worth a lot of money. . .just look at that Sega Nomad! Dang, Gil!
life was more simple and fun during the early 2000s i miss the old tvs and summers in 2003 2002 life was more peaceful and not rushed now time is flying going by s fast you dont get to enjoy it everyones rushing no stress as technology wasnt all haywire pre social media time where people still interacted without social media the 2010s was ok at first 2010 2011 id say were the best years
I guess I'll be like everyone else and tell you when I'm born. I was born in 1987 I was starting my senior yr of HS haha good times. Got my 1st myspace page around this time. Early August 04 it wasn't well known then but by the time I graduated everybody had a page, at least young people. Had to customize your page and add a song to it haha that was the beginning of the end.
I was born in 2005. I can't tell you how bad I wish I was born in like 1992 so I could experience this kinda stuff. Life just looked fun
Fun and simple.
@D.S.G Dolo I wish I was born in the 70s so I can be an adult in the 2000s
it was fun
@@Mikey-zt1kn I don't understand why.
Came here because I miss the 2000s.
You speak like an interesting guy, Gil. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and send a subscription your way. I was 6 in 2004. Remind me of the good old days.
This has to be in California. Everything looks so familiar and exactly how I remember it being back in the early 2000's.
Also, love the fact that you used your Piano's music as the intro. :P 👍
I was 12 in 2004 I remember it like it was yesterday great times.
You are so young.
Finally, a video of a time that I can actually look back on lol.
I can’t believe I was only one year old when this video was recorded now I’m 17.time flies
Damm u still a kid
@@alexrussia7561 i was born in 03 and parents always said times was simpler in the 2000s
Yep it does flies so fucking fast Isaac Lara
I was 14 lol
@D.S.G Dolo #2 so you're still a kid?
Always killing it with the videos
I was just 4/5 years old in 2004, but I remember some parts. I remember that ma father had a nice BMW 3 coupe and I remember when I was in kindergarten. Played with Lego and other things. I still have one of my friends of 2004.
One of ur friends from 2004 ? That’s a VERY long friendship . Nice stuff for real
@@Kbxbigbro808 True. He is the only friend I still have from the 2000s. We went together to kindergarten. We were not on the same elementary, but we still had contact to each other and met us during that time. We were at the same secondary school after that, but in different classes. Now we both are studying at different universities, but we still meet each other from time to time. 18 years, for sure my longest friendship. I also had some friends in the 2000s I had contact to until around 2018, but after graduating from school I lost contact to most of them. My second longest friendship is from 2010.
dude this is so weird i randomly found this video and this dude is on the intersection to my house
The early 2000s were absolutely GOLDEN, I felt it was still like the 90s but with some really nice conveniences without losing out on having a nice social life and what not
I feel old because I was born that year
Everything seems really old haha
Same
Old!? Wow this generation is sad if you think being 16years old is old Lol. I was born in 98 and still consider myself at prime at the age of 22! Being 16 is not old far from it
16 is super young. I'm 23 and I still feel pretty young.
U still young af wym😂
@@tedmcfly9483 for real bro😂 idk what this kid means 16 is old lol
I drove all over SoCal during that time! Mostly between SD, Escondido and all around the Oceanside area. Looks almost the same. Great memories!
instead of being born in 2004, i wish i was a teen back then.
It’s crazy because the oldest people in 2004 were born in the late 1880s.
ah 5th august 2004 is my birthday and it’s one of the days documented in this video! so cool
Mines the 7th of August 2004 :)
Lol you are older mine is 23rd. of november
Wow I’m 2 days older than you
In 2004 I was 5 in kindergarten I remember the day

I graduated HS in June 2004. What a time to be alive!
I was born in august 2004! Cool af.
Same
It was a really chill time to be alive, lounging around and biking around the trailer park, blasting rap music on late summer nights, and just exploring the town always discovering new things. No sense of adventure nowadays as you can look at any place in the world on the phone. I didnt have much computer access but had cable TV with the CRT and watched WWE, Hockey, Spongebob, and Robot Chicken. The car culture was awesome around this time too, fancy paintjobs, JDM cars everywhere and lowriders were still a big thing. But of course that time still had its downsides but man i really enjoyed it, summers felt hotter
Mannn 2004 was helluva year, i was in 4th grade and like 9 or 10…girls were fighting over me in 4th grade bruhh…i had a crush on some dark skin girl which i still follow on ig and fb….nfs underground 2 just came out and i installed it on my PC. Was playing with the regular 7 or 8 cars on the game cuz i didnt know what career meant on the game lol…played like that for a year plus. I had an air force 1 and nike cortez sent to me by my aunt from states… i was living in east africa ethiopia btw..till late 2012 i lived there since i was born in 94. Now im in Maryland living with my gf, cat and 4 cars . 2 90s cars and 2 mid 2000s. Loooove 90s cars and 2000s. Love cars in general. Life was sooo simple and beautiful
You're lucky that you actually got to experience the '00s. I was born in March 2004 sadly, but it's interesting to see what the world was like when I was a few months old!
2004 the last year of the VHS. Prisoner of Azkaban was the last VHS tape i ever saw lol
Was 2004 really the last year of the VHS tape 🤔
2005 was the last year of VHSs man. They went extinct in 2006.
I was 6yrs old that year 🥺 the earlier 2000s still had the 90s written all over it until 2007. Had phones but still did not care for them 😂 we cared for tv. Remember Tv-o 😂
Graduated high school in 2004. Where did the time go?
I turned 1 year old in August that year. Crazy to think I was alive in this era, everything so old 😂
