(Only Federer can do good counter punch that still make people struggle even though they are in the advantage of overpowering him). You have to swing at the ball to match that guy or put in a more faster swing paste. I'm talking about your baseline plays. (When you counter punch the ball back into play there weren't any plans of winning the point). Just go ahead and take risk and swing at the ball when your already thinking of losing because punching the ball back into play is already a loss. There are other play style too, where you hit the ball to make the ball give more spins than your usual. Spin gives the ball very unpredictable hits when the player is trying to hit it back to you, they will have a harder time to concentrate to hit the sweet spot, unless the guy have better footsteps but even with good footsteps, it is still tougher to concentrate. Most of the ball that you hit are very floating, like no power. So he was able to step in and give a full swing. Swinging in a follow through can mean your in control and have a plan to win. As for second serves... Hit it like your first serves, lol no, I don't know yet to tell how you can improve.
