This brand new video was created using upgraded footage from the band’s 1981 biopic, Take It Or Leave It. Showing the band recording, playing live and generally capering about, it has all the hallmarks of a classic Nutty promo.

As a naturally curly haired lad, I always desperately wanted to be able to have a Suggs style pseudo-flattop haircut when I was a kid 😂. No amount of my Gran saying “all the girls love a man with curls” could sway me! What wonderful music it is, and always will be. Fantastic video too.

@@tynkabell9972 honestly if I had to live in a world where modern pop and rap etc was the only music, I'd probably be dead in a week. I can't live without my favourite rock and metal bands, and everything in-between (I listen to quite a broad spectrum of music)
I'm 56 and was briefly a punk for a year or two....78,79.....then madness literally exploded onto the music scene...brilliant band, superb tunes!!!..Once that madness beat hit you, there was no going back, in the Discos when there music came on i had no choice but to dance...end of!!!Lol...they kept me fit.
Greatest thing, these chaps looked so loose and non serious, having & making fun all the time.
But underneath - some brilliant instrumentalists and composing enduring songs after they'd given old ska greats a new lease on life.
Hard to say which Tu Tone band I love the best, but Madness is on top absolutely

IMO the most enduring Madness track. I wish someone would tell the local radio station where I live (HR3 - Germany) that 'Our House' is not the only song Madness ever made.
Society at the was crying out for some Unity, some culture as everyone was rebelling against everything at that point. We needed something to add to the Punk- New Wave Music and along came this, everyone gelled together with this track.

One of the favorites that is continually played in my country music bar in New Jersey...shows you the influence of these great guys and their music...thank you Grahm Suggs for always being that great.

One of my all time favorite Madness songs. Love this video. My 13 year old son grew up liking Madness because I constantly played it when he was young.

Growing up in the 80’s in the US, I didn’t hear of Madness until I saw a video (One Step Beyond) on MTV. I Immediately went out and bought what I could find on imports. Loved them ever since. Such great music and the zaniness they show in their videos is fantastic.
Silly that this came out today. I was just watching their Der Wixxer video of It Must Be Love, just last week!!

I found my musical identity at the tender age of ten when I heard this on top of the pops the same episode as gangsters by the specials,then two tone took flight,I feel sorry for kids nowadays because music these days is dire.

small farm town Aerosmith , Van Halen , Led Zeppelin and basically anything Classic rock ruled the high school scene in the late 70s and early 80s

Madness is one of my best british bands. I love to listen their voice.
