Thank you for continuing to look into this and sharing your findings with us. You'd think Begode would want the wheel shipped back to them for root-cause failure analysis - especially given the visibility this incident has gotten. Motorcycle boots 'R Us. Wheels and their pedals can do nasty things to shins and ankles when things get out of hand (or foot).
I need some do granite countertops and tile for my kitchen. What a great idea to ride around the showroom on an euc looking at different samples. That place looks cool.
My master died on me. They said it was the control board. Second time cutting out on the master so I'm sketchy about riding it again after 2 surprise cutouts
I agree with you, how does a component to do with the charging of a battery interrupt the supply when the wheel is being ridden? I still think a dry joint in the main circuit board, or a poor connection through one of the connectors is more likely to be the source of the problem.
Roger, are you familiar with Single Event Upset (SEU), and things like DO178B and CMMI standards for systems where people life depends of continued operation (avionics, engines, structures, etc) ??? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Single-event_upset These simplex wheels are subject to SEU which means bits can glitch/flip, and makes sht happen. Redundancy and "fail safe" are most common solutions. But that would be a "safety wheel", not an "assassin wheel" as are all of our wheels these dayz. ;) Thanks for the updates. Yea my impression is SEU. PS: Stuff like this is why avionics systems have fault logs, non-volatile memory, hot restart, and backup/redundant systems.
did begode "engineers" really said that the cutOut problem on the a2 was because of a single diode in the charging circuitry?... if thats true that is an entire mountain worth of crap... that entirely killed my confidence in begode, I will actively avoid buying any euc from begode 😅
They haven't looked at it physically. They're giving opinions and guesses on why it happened. If they had the wheel, they could inspect. Sometimes things happen..it sucks when it does.
@@eucLogic for an engineer (from begode) to give that assesment it goes even beyond logic to just point to a random electronic component which has no relation on the controller balancing logic... they might as well randomly point that the cutOut was due to the valve in the tube leaking air XD
It is a sad indication that they don’t have any engineers that actually understand the circuitry in their wheels because this was just a wild ass guess
Not sure whether it has something to do with Marty's last ride, there're some BMS warning while riding down hill? ua-cam.com/video/jvyvnOBwzto/v-deo.html
Your Venetian interior design is very striking, not quite my style but very nice all the same. Interesting premises, I have a marble table stashed away somewhere, it was the side of a bath, heavy as hell.
what is involved in wrapping a wheel? finding a site that sells the plastic and using a head gun to apply it? Tired of the boring black on black wheel.

Fantastic video Roger. I’m sending this to Begode 😁 I kind of like referring to the A2 as the assassin wheel from now on 🤣
Where can I find your story about how the cutout happened?
The question is should I order one ? I’m only on wheel 26.
The mystery continues.... Marty ya have a hole in ya jacket

I visited the business once. The show room does look incredible.
I think you are outside of my service area.
@@roghaj yes, unfortunately I am or else I'd be there, the showroom looks awesome.
That grandfather clock of yours sound possibly even more evil than that one in Stranger Things.
Now I like it even more. Thanks :)

the mystery continues, good work nonetheless Roger!
Glad you didn’t fall and take out all your beautiful displays 😂
I'd only take one out. Two at most.
@@roghaj 🤣
Should I be paranoid riding my master now
it's a begode, what could there possibly be to worry about silly billy

Begode is obviously guessing, and don’t understand the circuitry any better (maybe worse) than us 🙂
funny enough, my master did this before too, but it was because it was wet. Turn off, and drop me, when I got up and turn it back on, works just fine.
Marty should borrow an electric trike (or put some training wheels on a K5? Surely Alien Rides or someone would loan him something along those lines?
and all a2 owners shall sleep well because u r going to need it.

where did u get the street tire?
Yea nothing on the charge side could cause a cut out with how they have it … do all the phases make the same ish voltage per rotation

@@eucLogic as a fellow engineer I can say the last thing that should be done is guessing what could be wrong. Clearly they are guessing.
@@ElectricUnicycles what was their statement? It is just so outlandish.
Your awesome.😂
Thanks... I assume you are talking about my shoes.
is that place where you live?
You didn't open the motor and check the hall sensor print, like I commented on the other video?
A Hall Sensor failure would not cause a wheel to “turn off”. It would stop balancing, but it would not turn off.
@@ElectricUnicycles tell that to the people that have the Abrams V1..
@@JonahHax The Abrams V1 stopped balancing it did not turn off like the A2. Totally different failure symptoms.
Are you using a gimble? Lol so smooth
Yeah. DJI RS3 mini

Stone Age in Anaheim California
@@roghaj Ah that's why the MTEN games were there, I did think it was an unusual venue.

no sound please reupload
Are your speaker plugged in?
it works...I do not know why
make sure to have some grains of salt ready when starting a video from someone who wears sunglasses inside
I was supposed to take them off dramatically in the video. the camera wasn’t facing me when I did.
Can you remove the sound again please... it was better without you talking in it haha (just kidding) Greetings from down under
Bummer, eventually the culprit issue will be found.
