maybe, but spaced Mario F-smash beats all of Falcon's moves. disjointed hitboxes >>> cojoined hitboxes
also, fireball and up-B, and uptilt are very hard hitboxes for Falcon to deal with. Use your good moves in the right situations and range doesn't matter ;)

The commentators did good! But I don't think they realized that n0ne used to be a Mario main. So he already had experience in the matchup first hand.

@@vgmasta5348 Not true. I used to pick Mario virtually all-the time (along with Luigi) in both Smash 64 and Melee when I was younger back then. LOL I admit that I don't use Mario in the Super Smash Bros. series nearly as much as I used to back then, but I still pick him sometimes.
Dude. Nobody has talked about how Mario has lost a lot of weight in Melee (back in 2001). LOL As I previously said in my most recent UA-cam videos, I say that Mario has lost most of his weight since Melee. LOL

Idk, Mario in melee is actually super hype. Just not really at the top level. A Rookie vs players of a slightly lower caliber or in friendlies is beautiful

Mario has some things about him that are better than doc like uptilt upair being better for combos and disjointed fsmash. Also he just likes Mario better

Dude. It's still fairly strange how I still play better with Mario than I do with Luigi in Melee. LOL It's probably because Mario is a bit heavier, so it takes a lot longer for Mario to actually die on the battlefield. LOL Plus, Mario's forward smash is also stronger than Luigi's forward smash in Melee as well.
Mario and Luigi are the same weight, but Luigi is definitely floatier than Mario, which makes him die off the top earlier. Mario also has better dash speed and air speed, which might also help explain why you feel better with Mario.
@@wildcard13294 Maybe. I noticed that I've even been winning more matches when I use Mario over Luigi in Melee when I verse against my friends as well. Even though I usually play as Luigi more often than I play as Mario, in general.
