The Quarry Exhibit Hall houses Dinosaur National Monument's "Wall of Bones" where over 1,500 dinosaur fossils from the Jurassic Period have been excavated in place. The Hall is a treasure trove of stories from the past, both prehistoric and recent.

In 2008,, on a 3 week drive around the West. Drove there, then found the exhibit closed due to building and wall were unstable. So didn't get to go in. Around 1976 on a bicycle cross country trek. I did get to go in for a short visit. Reason or one of the reason wanted to go back in 2008.

I have been there and it was mind blowing indeed. When there no one told me about the shuttle to take you to the site....and when the bus came I asked where everyone was going. I got onboard, and all I can say is WOW...was more than I expected ! ! Worth the stop.

It was an awe inspiring sight to a ten year old me. Its still pretty awesome 50 years later.
The human concept of time is a blink of the eye in comparison to the geologic timespan.
