Remember the main rules friends:
1. Loop it small
2. Always finish the loop
On the backroll kiteloop it is very important to not loop the kite too early, I would say start looping at 3/4 of the rotation, the kite pulls hard on your harness and if you loop the kite when you’re at 1/2 of the rotation the loop will pull you in a faster rotation (especially when there’s a bit more wind). I remember my first backroll kiteloop in 25 knots (wanted to do them more powered and higher) I pulled it too early so I got yanked into a second rotation (even though I initiated the backroll only very slightly), somehow I landed it, probably looked a bit uncontrolled but I landed a backroll-kiteloop-late-backroll🤙🤙
Great comment ! 😊🙌
Indeed a great comment Norwin
Finally Ben! Great clip! Please keep these kind of tricks coming! Late backrolls/front rolls would be great too
Thank you for the feedback! Late backroll is coming soon 😊
Would appreciate a video about heliloops / landing loops!
Cool idea !!!
Finally some big air stuff :D Please make more!
haha 😂 more is in the making 😊
Another awesome tutorial for progression building on what one can already do. Can't wait for my broken hand to heal in order to get out and try! Thanks for sharing 🤙🤙🤙
I wish you a fast and good recovery. Thank you 😊🙌
Kiteloops with grabs are also really fun, like adding a nosegrab to a backroll kiteloop is pretty sick
True and it looks much better and more in control 😊🤘
@@BenBeholzVlogs yeah definitely, and it just feel really good to loop with one hand somehow

Do u recommend xr7 to learn?
Ben what you think about the direction of the rotation? going right when you rise the kite to jump you are starting a counter-clockwise rotation, is this the best, easier and safer way? I have seen someone stop the rotation initiated by the rising and send the kiteloop in the opposite direction...
Hey, I don't really understand what you mean. It is important to loop the kite not too early... But I'm not sure if that was the case. Can you maybe explain it a little bit more detailed... ?
@@BenBeholzVlogs sure, I'm speaking about the direction of rotation, clock wise or counter clock wise
@@GaetanoCrisci This depends in which direktion you‘re jumping. If you‘re riding to the right side it is counter clock wise. If you‘re going to the left side it‘s clock wise…
@@BenBeholzVlogs exactly! what was saying is that I have seen someone also doing the opposite! is that wrong or acceptable?
I found a Backroll kiteloop easier than an Big Air Backroll, because I always thent to stear the kite to far back and with the Backroll kiteloop this isn't to bad
I know this - happens a lot. But it helps for the backroll kl because you takeoff super vertical 🙌🤘
What's the difference between a frontroll kiteloop and aboogie Loop?
A boogieloop is pulling/initiating the kiteloop while hanging upside down doing a frontroll
I actually didn’t know that aswell, thank you 😊🙌
A boogie loop you are Inverted
...nice Video! Great....kiteloops? In my Next Life maybe 😂
Haha 😂 don‘t overrate them. I‘m pretty sure you‘ll make it aswell...
Wo bist du gerade kitesurfen eigentlich also an welchem hotspot?
Jetzt gerade aufm Weg nach Grado 😊
I already doing this variations and really want to try the late backroll but just don't getting the right conditions, where my loops are coming consistent enouth. Isn't it the next step!?
Of course ! That would be one next step. When you don’t have the right conditions I recommend to add grabs onto your loops
Ben quick question. I’m going to invest in a 15m kite. Should I get the nexus or the GTS. I mainly want to do unhooked stuff. I’m a little heavy too. What do you think? Which one do you like better
That‘s hard to answer. As 15m they are really similar. I‘ve you can chosse take the Nexus 😊🙌
@@BenBeholzVlogs awesome thanks
Thank you Ben, this video was missing! so you say 17 to 22 knots with 9 to 7 meter kite, right?
I'm still learning to jump and seams not very easy to jump with my 7m under 24 knots... (I'm 80kg)
What is the model of your 7m? It is definitely doable to jump in 20knots on a 7m 5 strut big air kite like the XR7, Rebel or Orbit but it will be nearly impossible to do so in 3 strut freestyle kites like the GTS, Dice etc since their low end is so bad.
@@rubensbrazilianbrothers yes probably so, it's a 3 strut Ozone Catalyst V1
Great explanation of Rubens 😊🙌 Don’t you have a 9 than ?
@@BenBeholzVlogs yes! 9m Catalyst V1 as the 7, it's a bit slow but probably could work!
@@GaetanoCrisci No the 9 is good 😊🤘
how long the lines are ?
I was on 22 meter lines...
I am afraid Ben Beholz will complete in Big Air Soon 😜😜
haha 😆 this will never happen 🤭
let´s try :D
