The heaviest band I know that plays in standard E, it's unbelievable how thick, fat and tight the sound is. I know all their stuff is mainly tuned to D now and there's probably a few bands I'm missing but they just take the cake for me.

Dude. That guitar riff literally just inspired me to buy another guitar. Played for 8 years then took a two year break. Heard this riff like a month ago and it kicked me into turbo drive to get another guitar and play again. It's powerful shit all around. Lol
I've always had the feeling that Sylosis sounds like old Trivium but with better riffs and no clean singing. Massive fucking songs. Also, Josh and Matt's screams are VERY similar.
