Two big points, one, Kristin left her daugther with a literal stranger, she abandoned her and two, that man raised her as his own for pretty much her entire life, so Kristin is now the real stranger. What kind of screwed laws would allow Krisitn to have custody after those two points?
The same law that happens here in the USA. This country has always sided with the biological parent no matter how bad the situation is and has never apologized for putting children back in danger. This story is a rare one but that mother did a favor for both the daughter and Samuel. That little girl helped him grow up to be a better man from the deception of another. So many topics in this movie to open your eyes up even for you own situation weather big or small.
@@MyboyKaithey also tend to prioritize woman over man. A woman with mental health issues and drug abuse was able to get custody of her daughter even throught the father showed proof to the judge that the mother would h4rm their daughter. Which she did shortly after by k1lling her.
They always prioritize woman…. Even that a man break his back to give his best to his children…
That woman have no right to come back into their lives.
And knew the whole time possibly she wasn't his child. Could have did a DNA test before dropping her off and leaving😅

Horrible woman. She has been sleeping around and doesn't know who the real father is. And now she uses this man to get away from the baby and now shes fighting hard to win her back. What a W@#^&.

Question is why didn't The Magistrate took the considerations that:
1. The biological mother just left her daughter, to she assumed that man was her real father. Basically sheabandoned her daughter in the begining.
2. That even after DNA test shows he is not the real father of that child. That he still acknowledge her as his and still want to keep parental custody.
When it comes to child custody mothers are far more likely to win regardless of some things we consider as reckless on the mother's part. Except in some traditional African settings where it's believed that the father owns the child.

The mother went to find herself, when she could have looked in the mirror. At least before the "little one" closed her eyes, she knew she was loved by her PA 'PA. This reminds me of myself. It was hard to watch as a man because it almost brought back tears.
I always hear how fathers are shitty but we don’t discuss shifty moms . This is a story of how having sex irresponsibly can go horribly wrong. Women lie to men all the time. There should be a fine and jail time because this is the reality .

I remember watching this when it got released Omar Sy is my fave french actor and this was just a very moving film. The smile at the end just made me cry❤😢

BASICALLY THE MOTHER WAS A H#E AND GOT PREGO BY A RANDOM GUY THEN PINNED AND LEFT THE BABY WITH A GUY THEN COMES BACK 8YRS LATER AFTER HER H#E FAZE AND TRIES TO MAKE A NEW FAMILY WITH HER BOYFRIEND WITH THE BABY THAT REALLY WASN'T THE GUYS BABY SHE LEFT HER WITH. SMDH. DISGUSTING, THIS REALLY HAPPENS ALLOT NOW A DAYS WHICH IS SAD FOR THE CHILDREN.
