I know he's Canadian and all, but I sure would love to hang out with Dan for a few days. Do a little detecting, prospecting and mining. Keep up the great videos Dan. PS just joking about the being Canadian, I'm like 1/8 Canadian lol
Nice work on your trout creek. Keep going. I have a question for you. Have you ever lose gold in your gold snuffer bottle down the creeks or rivers. Well I did 2 weeks ago I found my first picker 2 months ago I found it in the mission creek my heart broke. How does someone recover from the loss and how to keep your Snuffer bottle closer so you don't lose it again
I don’t know ANYTHING about gold lol but I wanted to say KEEP GOING! Don’t let it get you down, maybe look into the way other things are secured under water? If you look at how those materials are attached on other UNDERWATER projects. The under the running water issue changes EVERYTHING! You really might find yourself a solution. A way you might never have thought of. Sending you guys lots of love and prayers from Britain! 🙋♀️ 🇬🇧 Wish we had this here lol 😆 my partner would be getting a new job, and dish! Haha 🤣 Because I don’t know the materials and the components so I kept it vague. But hope you got what I meant. Good luck 👍 you’ve got this!
Testing the ground to identify if there is a viable deposit is what prospecting is about. Testing operations very seldom produce a profit, they just produce knowledge and miners use that knowledge to determine weather to spend hundreds of thousands of dollar trying to get considerably more out of the ground. That is why we permitted a 300 yard pit and not a 27000 yard pit. We need the information first before we jump in with both feet. This operation was budgeted from our mining companies assuming no gold was recovered. Any gold recovered is just icing on the cake. We did not lose our shirts, because we budgeted this with money from other mining activities as a TEST. That is what small prospecting and mining companies do.
Spiral wheel, GolDrop, Multi-Sluice, Blue Bowl, miller table, all will produce clean gold *_IF_* properly set up and classified. If you run unclassified cons through a spiral, you will either blow out small gold, or collect too much black sands. I really don't believe any one is better at separating gold from waste than any of the others. If one takes enough time, one can get pure gold from any of these machines.
@@Danhurd I admit, I like the gadgets even if a Garrett pan would do the trick just nicely. I'm a sucker for that spiral. It's mesmerizing to watch for some reason.
Try holding devine rods and some of those flakes. Then walk over the land and when they cross thats where the deposit is.. gold must make contact with skin and rod. This works with any mineral and gold silver but you need the same chemical makeup so u need to use the gold in the area.... iv seen this work with opal and where I learned it

Oh ya most mines, like almost all of them, never see one ounce nuggets. 99% of all gold out there is smaller than 1 gram. Even at VERY profitable mines.
I'm not a prospector, but I've got a new appreciation for how much material one has to process in order to find gold.
We love your videos. Dan you are the man. Wishing you continued success in all you do. God bless you and the Mrs.
when anxiety and excitement feel the same.... great sneak peak Dan!
I get this feeling the spiral separator is the way to go. You always seem to get a better run when you use it.
Yeah, the innovation seems to be a good direction in making the process smoother
Nice indeed fam. Gold squad out!!
Man those Dan o nuggets look great 🤩
Dan your my hero!!👍❤🇺🇸
That looks like the best week ever. May God continued to bless you and yours Amen.

Hey Dan!! You can hypnotize me with that anytime!! Lol ; ) Beautiful gold...

dan how big is that claim and is there any more available claims in that area for sale
Very cool visuals. Absolutely breathtaking. Hope you did well.
So many don't seem to realize that it's not just about the gold. It's about the social media revenue.
Donno if its the amou t you are looking for - but it looks like a helluva haul to me!
Is that near Noxon?
Good golly gosh... that looks like you hit it!
Can you put the price of how much you find!!
Hopefully finally getting more than an once of gold for each 100 yards of paydirt
That doesn't look like an ounce to me, does it to. You?
@@robotsongs no, sadly I think they are losing their asses. I doub’t the fuel and lease on excavator is being met. 😬
6 grams

@@Danhurd I was going to say that, but in a more agressive and succinct manner.
Those are some really flat but good size flakes!!! Hopefully that ounce to ton worked out this week. Stay safe out there
That looks better.
Looks promising, hope you got enough per yard this time
Looks great Dan. The gold spiral seems to give you cleaner gold at the end. Not a lot of black sand in that pile.

@Xenaguy01 I agree completely. My favorite is still just a simple pan. But people like seeing the gadgets.

Generally, panning seems like more work, but not necessarily. And if you like panning, that's surely the way to go.

Looks like you found you 1oz+ per 100yrds, congratulations mr dan.. bravo 👏
nice rough gold. how far do you think you are from the source?.
Less than a km. the source of this gold is well known.
About enough there to buy a used Yugo, LOL. Nice hall.
the yugo is a great car. and haul.
Mmmmm!
I Love, "CORN" FLAKES!
Lookin good

love your name. haha... obviously you don't straddle every fence around. lol
That’s got to be closer to the fractured bed rock if not right on top
Yes that is in the lowest part of the pit right on bedrock
Nice .
gold yeah bouy
If there are no one ounce nuggets, then how do you justify the expenses.
u don't

its not much, but hey, it's more than I got last year sitting in one pan

You keep teasing us but then the main vid doesn’t seem to “Pan out “ for you as much as we would all like 😂
This is content from tomorrow's vido
@@Danhurd I knew that Dan I just keep hoping to see the over an ounce clean ups from you guys I think you deserve the payoff.
You little tease !!!!!
Hello
That gold looks like Corn Flakes!
Stll trying to figure out why gold is so expensive, one can even get it from a trout creek
wow
👍
100 yards paydirt = 6grams of gold for week 4
Not sure where you got your info from, but your numbers are way off.
I am glad to hear that 😀
