great videos and comparisons thank you Edit: oh yeah, I enjoy your style of video immensely, no loud or long intro, no music just good useful info and crawler sounds.
I went overboard and switched to a Furitek esc and Komodo motor. Glad I did. Now I have easy adjustments. And super smooth and slow crawling. Got rid of the cheap controller too. Now in the process of upgrading all my other 1/24s to Furitek.
Nice! I also Just picked up a Furitek Lizard Pro and Mofo RC SMP motor for a build I'm working on. I can't justify converting all my rigs to brushless, but will be nice to have a platform for brushless motor testing! I will continue to explore affordable brushed motor options too. Have fun!
Great comparison. I've got a couple Torque Master 66T motors on the way for my TRX4M's. The low gear tranny with the stock motor lacks a bit of wheel speed. They're taking forever to find their way to Canada...lol
That's good to know. I was expecting little more wheel speed, and in practice while actually driving the wheel speed feels a good bit faster than stock. That's the first time I've compared motors in that way. I'm thinking the accuracy of the equipment/method leaves a wide margin of error! It's a fun way to compare motors for wheel speed, I'll continue to experiment!
Hey mate, noticed you are Australian. So am I.. looking at the Holmes motors and noticed they want $37 usd for shipping on that tiny motor. It works out to $82 Aus. Did you pay that or is there some where in Aus with stock? Cheers.
Hey Harry, I'm glad I've got some fellow aussies watching! I live in North Carolina so just local postage costs for me. I had no idea postage to Australia had gone up so much that's crazy.!
Lucky you! What’s it like over there in comparison to Aus? It’s not usually that bad.. have ordered much more and bigger things from the u.s and never paid that much 😮
@@HarryHikes Harry sorry for the late reply. John's suggestion of trying AMain Hobbies is a good one, I've used them many times in the past from Australia with good results. Moving to the USA has been a massive adventure, it's a great country full of amazing people and places! However Australia 🇦🇺 will always be home, and I'll move back there one day!
Nice comparison between the 3 motors. Thanks for not playing music during the crawling part.
Your welcome! I'm trying to keep the video's simple and informative, hopefully I'm pulling it off! Thanks for the feedback.

Thank you so much for the feedback! It really helps me to know what's working and what isn't so I can continue to improve the content for everyone!

Nice, I'm really enjoying the 66t it's a great little motor. Have fun out there and thanks for watching!
Ty I’m definitely going with the torque master 66T. Great video gained a sub.
I like the 66T! I'm glad the video was useful. Thanks for hanging out!
I got quite a bit more wheelspeed than the stock motor using the 66t. I like your rpm method.

Yes, thanks for sharing the helpful information.
Not a problem, Thanks for watching!
@@havikhobbies Do you think the Holmes Hobbies motor would go well with stock gears? Thanks again!
Great information 👍
Thanks mate! What did you think of the wheel speed comparison? Is it a useful way to compare motors?

Try amain hobbies, they will have these motors and probably cheaper shipping since they are a larger company
