What a pleasure to see and hear pleasant, polite people in the White House giving an elegant dinner and evening of entertainment. Mr. and Mrs. Carter were such gracious, kind people. A great example to all Americans.
Mrs. Carter was an outstanding woman, so sweet and kind and I love to hear her talk. They’ll never be another as humble as she was May she rest in peace
The late Rosalynn Carter will no doubt be kindly judged by history for the searing humanity, empathy, humility, intellect, and kindness that she let guide the long, exemplary life of steadfast public service she led with her husband. Though regrettably not one of the most widely known or celebrated First Ladies, I hope the new media attention briefly foisted on her character to commemorate this sad passing will enlighten more Americans, both young and old, about a truly remarkable person who was much, much more than just the wife of a U.S. president.
She was a very gracious first lady and quite a fantastic person. May God welcome her into the gates of heaven and give her eternal and peaceful rest. ❤🙏🏽
Always the lady..... A strong lady under the gentle facade. Demure. Sweet. The rock of Gibraltar. Respectful of other's privacy. And her own family. A grace, a dignity we have not seen in years until Ms Biden.

What a natural beauty Mrs Carter was. Add to that her simplicity, no airs and graces, genuine goodness and naturalness, I would take her a hundred times over artificial and calculated types like Melania and Jackie Kennedy.
What a sweetheart. I can only admire to be as graceful as she. Like a princess or a queen mother. i do not hold intellect in many things but i think i know a thing or two about compassion and its messangers, what a gift she was on this earth.
@@l.w.paradis2108 Oh, totally agree that she aced it (with sheer honesty and grace). But I felt he was condescending and patronising from the get-go. Why? Mrs Carter never showed anything - in office or later - but dignity and a life of service. It really irritates me that genuine "goodness" is somehow devalued.
RIP Mrs Carter. She seemed like such a humble, kind, gentle person. PS- blows my mind how horrifyingly sexist this interviewer is. Wow. We’ve come a long way folks. PPS - Where has this sweet Georgia accent gone? I feel like it was common back in the 70-80s, never hear it anymore ?
I've lived in Atlanta for a quarter century. Most of the South is pretty homogenized these days so accents like the Carters' are going away, but you still find them in the rural South. I agree, Mrs. Carter's accent is particularly lovely.
God bless Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter, Carter Foundation sunk a hand pumping water in my rural community. We join the lives they touched in remembering her passing on to glory. I commiserate with her husband and children, the united state of America. Ndonu!
God loves you and takes care of you so that this message reaches you. God is the one who created this great universe and has complete control over it. And the greatest loss that a person loses in this life is that he lives while he does not know God who created him, knowing the Messenger of Muhammad, the last of the messengers, and the Islamic religion, the last of the heavenly religions. The great intelligence, before you believe in something or not, is to read it, study it, and understand it well, and then you have the choice to believe in it or not. I advise you on this now before you do not have time to do that.
@ 2:26, I find, these are interesting questions. I remember voting day, I believe it was in 1975, we were on our way to go vote for the next President of the United States of America. My boyfriend, at the time, Doug Pritchard, were seated in the back seat of his parent's vehicle. We were too young to vote at the time. Though, Doug's Mother, broke out a bottle of champagne, popped the "cork", filled four plastic champagne glasses of champagne for the four of us. And THEN, she broke out the peanuts. Her husband was driving at the time, though, credit due here, he was the inventor of cruise control working for the U.S. Government.
If that’s the case, then he clearly plays favorites, because there are many people that are on the receiving end of injustice, disease, and brutality beyond comprehension. Get real .
Nancy Robbins Reagan felt because of her family background that she had to do a lot to make up the difference between herself and more distinguished spouses of leaders.
