Mrs Carter had such a lovely and comforting voice. I wish there were many more interviews with her. A brilliant woman who was greatly underestimated during her time as First Lady. May she rest in peace.

ABSOLUTELY! That’s one of the reasons why I was listening. It would be a great ASMR video.

Mrs. Carter was so intelligent, and she had a lovely voice. She was telling the truth about Reagan, and people should have listened.

9:35 - 10:35, wow, some strong points about Reagan. 11:31 "Jimmy Carter has always taught me that you do the best you can and don't worry about the criticism." Such an intelligent lady.

Mrs Carter is one of my heroes, and so is her husband. I only wish I had been old enough to vote for him. My first election wasn't until 1984.

I loved her criticism of Reagan. Nothing personal, just saying that Reagan was against programs that "help people." So simple, and reflects her decency.

This is quite an interview to listen to with hindsight, knowing Reagan may have negotiated during the campaign to *keep* the hostages in Iran, while blaming Carter for not getting them out, and definitely cut deals with Iran. The narratives put forward are often so deceptive. I wish we could have a president with Carter's character again.

WOW. Informed, intelligent and VERY serious about these very serious topics at hand (not that I’m surprised-I’m not). She was truly a stateswoman who knew her s*** and a force to be reckoned with-she could have (and maybe should have, if she wanted to) run for political office herself-she’d DEFINITELY have my vote.

Her eye movements. Didn't y'all see them? The pressure on her and President Carter must have been so tremendous. Anything they said, or did, must have weighed on them so much. She must have wanted OUT OF THERE. So awful.

The Bible says we have all sinned. I know I have, haven’t you?
God “desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:4)
Peter said, the Lord is “not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9)
    God gave us free will.
    The Good news
How can I go up to heaven and have everlasting life ?
“Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ that he died and rose again and you will be saved”
God bless you all in Jesus name.

1 John 3:5 - And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
1 John 2:2 - And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

You know, I always thought that Rosalyn Carter was a darling woman, but she was very naive. As was her husband about governance. Jimmy Carter would have made a great vice-principal at a high school in resoluting conflicts between students. But he would have made a horrible superintendent all the school district. he was an extremely ineffective President. Jimmy Carter's greatest successes came when he assisted in resolving the conflict between Israel and Egypt. They were extremely naive on how to run the government. The carters continuously throughout their presidency Asked of the american people to sacrifice and sacrifice and sacrifice, and he never mentioned that the government needed to sacrifice. He in fact blamed the american people for the problems of the country in that malaise speech. What President goes to camp David for 10 days and invites persons from all over the country to help him be. A better president? The man was an international embarrassment and a national one. It is a known fact from a former secret service agent that he didn't respect the And actually ordered them to stay at a distance. She talks about the Hostages in iran. In february 1979 The US embassy had been run over and taken over for several hours. there should have been a complete analysis and then an appropriate evacuation of our US personnel from that embassy when there was every evidence that the country of Iran was in chaos and tiltering towards supporting international terrorism . Jimmy carter created the atmosphere for the second take over the u s embassy. Anybody And that administration should have known that if they were going to make the decision to allow the Shah entry Into the u, s, they should have evacuated the u s embassy as a precaution. His own democratic Congress didn't have much respect for him. International leaders Did not have a lot of respect for the US Under jimmy Carter. She's doing what any good wife would do in defening her husband, but she's extremely naive in that process and in self-denial.

Carter was so desperate that he sent his wife to try to save his chances of a second term.

A president's wife campaigning for him is not at all unusual. Rosalynn Carter always did her homework, was thorough, intelligent, and hardworking. Her character and integrity were beyond reproach. I can't imagine anyone not finding her to be an asset in every way, as her husband said in his prepared statement after her death. If there was ever such a thing as the perfect wife, Rosalynn fits the bill. Public figures of her caliber are so incredibly rare nowadays.

We now hear that Reagan's Republicans conducted secret negotiations with the Iran regime to prolong the hostages' ordeal until after the Presidential Election had secured victory for Reagan. A release beforehand would've been advantageous to Carter.
